The room itself was clean, but the sheets and comforters were not. We were grumpily handed another set of sheets that was also stained. We were then handed a third pile of sheets that we sorted through to find clean ones and then had to strip and remake the beds ourselves. We slept without comforters. We were told that the hotel was sold out and there were no spare comforters. Finally, on our last night of a 3-night stay we came back to our room and found our beds had been remade with clean, unstained sheets and comforters.

The upgraded room design is questionable . The choice for on pane of glass covering half the shower leaving the room exposed to mega water on the floor. Was tryong to be careful not to get water outside shower but was unsuccessful. Designer needs to be incharge of cleaning that mess up, along with repairing wood door jam after it rots.

The staff was great, welcoming and helpful. I arrived late at night after a long drive, and they were present and happy to help. Not always the case at midnight check ins. The property was well kept and had personality and charm, and the breakfast was fantastic. I'll be back!

It’s an older place but it reasonably priced and has a decent restaurant/bar and helpful staff. The included breakfast is quite good, far better than what you typically get.

No elevator, stairs difficult to take. This was a challenge for us and our small dog. Did not have room ready when we arrived, 30 minutes after we were assured it was ready by both email and when we checked in. Still had to wait to be put in another room, which was located thanks to staff member Colin-- he was the only staff member who acted with true hospitality. The refrigerator buzzed throughout the day and night. This was all very disappointing as we have stayed at the Century House in past years and looked forward to this stay.

This property had a very historic appeal but with beautiful modern touches! Rooms felt luxurious compared to standard cookie cutter hotels. Front desk staff was personable and friendly. And the free breakfast was delicious with lots of fresh options. Highly recommend!

This is the best hotel we stayed so far. Our room was nice and cozy.. the bed was comfortable and the washroom was clean.. all in all the property was clean and neat.. The staff in the reception was so helpful and welcoming.. He even helped us carry our luggage to our room. They have soup for the day for the guests to enjoy plus coffee and other cold drinks.. They have plenty of choices for breakfast that we enjoy the most.. The farmer’s egg was scrumptious and delicious. They even have egg muffin better than McDonald. Linda the server who was so friendly and nice checked us often, attentive to all the guests needs and even stop for a bit for a little chat.. We will definitely come back again next year God willing for another stay and bring more family members with us.. Thank you so much Century House Hotel.

Beautiful room, unique lamps and wall decorations. Beautiful buffet for breakfast, hot & cold varieties. Coffee in lobby all day and soup as well. Staff is very accommodating and friendly. Will be staying again!

Property was clean and quiet. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Desk appeared to be staffed at all times. Clean room. Nice breakfast with very helpful and pleasant staff. Furniture, carpet etc a bit scuffed up looking, lack of signage makes finding the hotel difficult--It looks more like a restaurant.

This place was great! It's got a lot of character, and the staff were super friendly. We especially were delighted at the free soup and hot towels available. There was a game room that we spent time in as a family playing games and putting together a puzzle. We also found a piano upstairs that my son enjoyed playing. There is an attached restaurant with even more character, I loved it! It felt like you were walking into an old English inn. The food was delicious, and service was excellent. I'd definitely stay here and eat here again!

What a charming hotel. It has been updated and the rooms are a nice size neatly decorated. It has wood floors in the room which I feel are much cleaner. The bed in my room was comfortable.i would stay here again.
