"Alsos House was awesome! We are a family of 5 with 3 kids under the age of 13 and we loved it. The room was spacious, kitchen was great and you can't beat the location. We walked right out the door and up the street to the hiking trail to 2 of the monasteries. Then we got back and walked down the street towards town and had great meals and ice cream. AC works well, pools is huge, town has many dining options. The town is larger with more options than Kalistari. Two routes up to the monasteries exist- one that drives through Kalabaka and then Kalasraki and the other that goes in the other direction from Kalabaka- take both as it is a circle trip ideally. "

"Fantastic room for a few nights stay or longer. Room had a nice big bed, a 2 person table built into the wall near a wonderful view of the hillside. It all came equipped with items you may need if wanting to cook in your room like a stove top and rangehood, pots and pans, coffee maker, kettle and mugs, plates and cutlery.
