"The staff were very friendly! This is a no frills king of place. The room was very clean and the shower was actually amazing! They have an outdoor pool and hot tub. Walking distance to a few restaurants. Super close to the lake! Perfect spot for us and our dogs! I would definitely stay here again!! "

"We were met by friendly and accommodating Front desk staff, Ed & Ransom on arrival. They were able to honor our room request and that always makes us happy. Both Gentlemen helped us with a couple of things. Our bed was comfortable, the hotel is quiet at night. We slept well and had a great shower. The amenities are nice. We’ll definitely stay at The Armstrong Hotel again. P.S. there may be a ghost, though. The elevator stopped on a floor and no one was there to enter. :) We love historical hotels."

"Front desk staff was very nice. Hotel is dated, but it was very clean and comfortable. We slept in so didn't get a chance to take advantage of the complimentary continental breakfast. There is a small pond for fishing, a nice fire pit with a grill, a small play area with swings and a slide for little children and disk golf and horse shoe. We saw a family of elk on the property the first night which was cool. "
