Run down and not worth the money
The hotel is run down with poor quality bedding and toilet. The bed sheet was so thin - we could see though the bed and it is dirty. The towels was old. The floor towel was ripped and dirty - it seemed like it has not been changed for ages. We have asked the hotel to change the bed sheet and the towels, but no avail. Apart from the location, there is nothing good about it.

Terrible stay and will not visit again
We requested for room at upstairs but they give us downstairs room. The TV in the room in not functioning and without informing us, when we ask, they say it is spoil and no replacement was given. What a disappointment. Downstairs room is very noisy, we can hear people talk loud outside whole night till 1am in the midnight. It was a terrible stay. i will not stay there again in the future.

Nice location but bad set up
It was not shown there are 2 stories. Rooms are small for 3 guest. Old furniture and matteres were so uncomfortable till the spring can be felt in our spine. Corridors are not swept and kept clean. Flies and dirt outside our rooms. No hot water flask or kettle in room. We had to come down to the reception to take drinking water. Very regretting stay. Money was not worth for such a downgraded hotel.

Good option if you are looking for low cost hotel
Stayed 1 day only. Behaviour was good. Room was okay. Close to beach. Room facility is not bad. AC was running, only fan was slow.WIFI support was nice. If you are looking to just stay at low cost and just walk-in distance from the beach, I can suggest it for you. Nothing negative to comment about this hotel.

Great Accommodation!
Had a wonderful stay! Showed up in Langkawi and only booked one night! We ended up staying for 6! The beds were comfy, rooms were clean, service was lovely, breakfast was amazing, room had AC and fan, plus wifi was great! All around a really great experience for a cheap price! Would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again if we were to return!

Good stay, just a little noisy
Really good service, simple but nice room. Hot water and AC worked well. Walking distance to the beach and some supermarkets, recommend to rent scooter by the hotel for 35MYR to go explore Langkawi.

Great location but accomodation is poor.
The hotel is a very short walk away from Cenang Beach, maybe 4 minutes. The double room we stayed in was tiny and with our two large backpacks there was hardly any floor space. Bed sheets and towels were very badly stained so I slept in my sleeping bag liner. There were only 2 plus we could use to charge electrical items and when you're traveling thats not very useful. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom when we arrived. Staff weren't really bothered with guests. They were pleasant enough though when you had to speak to them. It's a pity as the property has lots of potential and a little effort would make a massive difference.

Basic but good hotel
The beds are comfy, the sheets were clean and the room was spacious enough for two people. The location is very good, just a short walk from the beach.

Very dirty and dark room. Terrible service.
I felt cheated because it wasn't a hotel, it was a MOTEL. Extremely basic, dark, uncomfortable and dirty. WiFi not working at all, not even in the common areas. Non-english speaking staff. No cleaning service at all. Bed mattress very hard and uncomfortable, and bed sheets dirty. We had to ask for a towel and toilet paper... No place to leave the toilet paper in the bathroom, which is pretty basic! The bathroom window didn't close so bugs came in through there.

Hot & cold water have to take from reception counter. No small fridge provided in the room. Be prepared for mosquito attack. Towel, toilet roll, coffee sachet need to ask from reception counter.

Recommended for couple and friends
I stayed for 4days 3nights. The room is quite small but it is okay for me and my husband. They will provide towels if you ask. Air conditioner and heater functioning well. It is 5-7 minutes walk to the beach. There are also Malay food stalls outside this motel. You need to ask the room service to clean your room. So far I'm satisfied with the location, room and room service.

Value for budget hotel. The staff is nice but they don't clean the room unless you ask. Location is good for the clean empty beach but a little far from some famous food option and shopping area. The hotel is opposite orkid ria, the best seafood restaurant in langkawi.

Simple accommodation in great location
Small room, but everything you need and all good quality and comfy. Cafe across the road does a great breakfast for about 7 MR and you are 2 mins from the beach. They only clean the room when you asked, but that suited us. Was spotless on arrival. Staff aren't overly friendly but whenwvr we asked for anything they helped out. Awesome kittens too!

It was perfect for me and ny friend who was backpacking trough Asia. Sweet inn is a cosy hotel near to both the beach and restaurants. The room was comfortable and you gota lot for a small prise. I absolutelly recomend the hotel to backpackers who want a place that is cheep and good standard.

Close to beach and the market, but not that good
The location of the hotel is good, about 50 meters off from the busy Pantai Chenang Road. But the room the we were given accommodation in, was not upto the mark. The latch on the bathroom door was broken. The flush seems to have broken and used to not work always. The water heater was on but it didn't function. Although this hotel is on the cheaper side, but one would expect these kind of basic facilities to be up and running. The room, bed etc. were good. You have space and chairs to sit outside your room, and even in the dining area of the hotel. The breakfast was decent, no complaints there. It has it's own parking space so you can park your rented car inside. It's close to beach but you don't have any sea view from the hotel so if you are looking for that, this might not be in your preferred list. And as a general note, in Langkawi, there are only 3 channels (from what we saw in this hotel and some other places). They are TV1, TV2 and TV3 (really, simplicity at it's best :P). Onlt one of the channels had news/movies in English. Other 2 were in Malay. But since most of the time is spent outside hotel, one shouldn't be bothered much.

Location is good, but room had dead firefly and live slug in it even if the room seemed clean enough. Service is basic, wifi not good but that's everywhere the same in Malaysia apart from kl we found. Ok for a backpacker stay, but if you are stuck in the hotel as we were since it rained non stop for 24hours, not great

Amazing Hotel for budget holiday
This place is so close to Cenang beach that you can experience the sand on under your feet after only a 5 min walk. Moreover, Cenang beach is the place to be in Langkawi. The area is open till 4:00 am so you can have a nice time very close to your hotel and simply walk back! The rooms and services are as advertised. The staff is courteous and very helpful. We had come for two days but liked it so much that we extended our stay here.

The staff thought I was coming 1 day later after finally finding my reservation so I asked for them to find me a room elsewhere which after a long time looking happened to be a really bad and dirty room a bit further in Pantai Cenang with only a fan but I got a room with air con, not the one I booked for, after the first night. The room was ok for this type of hotels in Asia, that is with a shower next to the toilets, and there was a small desk, table and chairs which was good. The location is slightly off the main road and beach. Still, I can't have a good opinion after what happened the first night there but I discovered that this extremely poor level of service is the norm everywhere in Langkawi.

Not going there again
We were supposed to stay at Sweet Inn for three nights but ended up staying only two. The accommodation was not very clean and the room was super noisy. Wifi didnt work well either. When we were checking out the staff didnt want to gove us back our deposit money because we didnt have some receit that they were supposed to give us while checking in, they never did that.. but luckily we got the money back. Good for backpackers.

Small hotel small price close to animation area/be
Quality/price is very good. It s small hotel close to the beach and animation area. The cleaning room is done if you talk about it on the morning. The facilities is little old but it's ok and for the price payed is very good.
