The staff at the property was very nice. Our room was very basic. The furniture and bathroom fixtures were average at best. We had ants in our room but there wasn't much that could be done because the gap under the front door wasn't keeping them out. It is an affordable option to base out of while spending the days exploring Langkawi.

The property is located in main tourist part of Langawi because you can get from beach, restaurants to duty free shops. It's easy to walk, but somewhat dark. The little house I got was okay. The staffs are smiley and welcoming which I really like about the place.

The place is quiet and relaxing but at the same time it is walking distance from the bustling cenang beach area. I love that even though it is not so new, it is well maintained and very clean. The staff are all very nice and helpful. We will definitely stay here again when we visit langkawi.

Pro check in staff was nice and helpful. She helped us to call airport to get our luggage as it was delayed. Near to food amenities. Though breakfast start at 8am. Allow us to have it earlier. Nice gesture. Con however the breakfast choice is limited. The TV programs only have 3 local channels. The towels and bed comfort can be better. I gave a 3 star rating overall as it is a budget accommodation so can be value for $.

Great stay
I loved my stay at Chenang Inn, it’s at the end of the main road so super easy to get to the shops and the beach (literally 1-2 min walk) the huts are really cute and the outside is really well maintained and pretty. The beds and pillows were really comfy and the room was lovely and spacious and even had hot water for the shower. The staff were friendly and informative. The only thing I would say is that the towels had marks on them but that is only negative comment I had. As a lone traveller I felt really safe here and would definitely come back again.

During booking, hotels.com site shows that 1 king bed and 1 double bed but in actual it was 1 king and 1 single bed. Location was ok but little inside from the main road and going in the night is little difficult and not safe. TV is not working and water bottles provided only for the first day. Overall it is comfortable and clean.

I would definitely return to Chenang Inn whenever i am on a trip in Langkawi. The workers are really friendly and the inn is such a cosy place that will definitely make you feel at home whether you are travelling with your friends or a loved one or your family.

Quiet but near beach
Nice place, clean with friendly staff. Nice patio table and chairs outside door. Yes there are some mosquitoes and ants. Landscaping great, close to beach and at one end of the "strip" but off the beaten path. WiFi is intermittent, you have to put key in correct box to have your room cleaned, no free coffee and only 2 free water bottles per visit. Washroom is so small you can use the toilet, the sink and shower all at the same time. TV has only 3 channels. There is a small refrigerator. Overall, great place to stay!

Good Clean Economy Hotel near the Beach
I had been staying with friends at a beach resort in Ceneng. They left and I stayed four more days on a budget. My room at the Chenang Inn had everything I needed. The wifi is pretty good and there is a refrigerator. It was clean and comfortable. There is a short walk from the main road to the property. It's not far. Street lights on the portion of the road nearest the main street would be an improvement. Just across the main road is the beach which is totally public. As all the beaches I saw around Langkawi itself, the water is cloudy but I swam every day in the ocean. You can rent beach chairs and an umbrella for about $5 US. The flowers and shrubbery around the hotel are beautiful. Lots of birds. There are chairs to sit on your front porch.
