"Many of the hotels in the area are old as this small bustling town of 12k people see 10k-20k tourists in the summer months per day. This hotel had great location, friendly staff, great breakfast, and Cat Ba Ventures make it very convenient for me book tours around the area, as well as transportation to/from Hanoi."

When we arrived, Nam changed our room to give us a balcony and a view. He also gave us an overview of the island and the spots to check out. "Great place to stay on Cat Ba island. It’s close enough to town to walk to restaurants yet away from all the massive construction sites so it’s quiet. The hotel is beautiful. Comfortable modern rooms and fantastic breakfast buffet. The beach is nice too. The staff were very nice and amazingly helpful. Highly recommend!"

"First of all the staff and breakfast were amazing. The hiking trip organised by the hotel was awesome. The location is really good. The downsides there were lots of bugs in my room. I killed them all and i thought that was the end of it then on the last day upon checking out there was a huge cockroach on the floor, i presume their mother. The water pressure for the hot water didnt seem to exist at times and you had to run it for a while to make it work. "

"Hanna was the best - she helped with everything we needed! There isn’t much for other dining options in the immediate area, but a quick trip by car or bus gets you to many. Very quiet and peaceful. Smoothies were great! Bus on island easy to use and inexpensive!"
