"We loved our stay in Cat Ba! Linda was an amazing host and the staff were so helpful. We had the most delicious hot pot there one evening. Linda helped us with all our planning. It had a quaint garden with puppies running around, and monkeys howling in the distance. A/C worked and our daughter swam in the pool at night. Would recommend if looking for a homestay in the area!"

"The homestay was a good experience in general but was quite far from Cat Ba Town. We were able to hire bicycles and ride to the national park and go hiking but there wasn't anything else that could be accessed without motorised transport. The rooms were ok, but in need of some maintenance. Bathrooms need updating and wallpaper was peeling off the ceilings. There were spiders and a centipede in the room but it was fine once we removed the critters. Lots of farm sounds with roosters, barking dogs and even a radio broadcasting in the mornings, as well as karaoke from a nearby establishment at night so it wasn't as peaceful as we were led to believe. Having said that, the hosts were lovely and very helpful with booking transport and activities. Food selection was good and they were able to accommodate our need for gluten and dairy free meals. It was a pleasant stay but we would choose a different location next time."

"This home stay was lovely - relaxing and beautiful. The hosts were so kind and nice. They made us lunch when we checked in which was delicious! The dinner was also great (250k pax charge) with lots of fish and shellfish dishes. Breakfast was huge as well! Very nice stay, we wish we had a little longer to explore but our flight was delayed."
