While it is possible to walk from the train station, we chose to take an Uber because we had larger suitcases. Florence's cobblestone streets can make rolling luggage challenging, but travelers with lighter bags should have no problem walking. The only thing I didn’t like was it was a very small attic room with a very low ceiling. Nice automatic blinds installed. Felt like a fire trap - up a small spiral staircase to get to top. Clean though."

We loved that the property was away from the center of town, it gave us an opportunity to walk around a different area of Florence that we would not have seen, and to enjoy neighborhood restaurants.
