"Get the Junior suite. They were great although a little quirky. However....it is a very old building and that "old feel" is to be expected. We stayed three nights and the food and service was fantastic! "

"Beautiful property with a lovely bar and restaurant. Unfortunately we didnt get chance to eat there but would love to revist again. Staff were friendly and put on a really nice breakfast spread (continental). Room was spacious, comfortable and well decorated with a nice wetroom-style bathroom. 100% would stay again!"

"Super freundliches Service-Team, versucht jeden Wunsch von den Augen abzulesen, besonders Cat !!!! Hat immer und überall geholfen, danke !!! Das Hotel und Pub sind urig aber sehr gepflegt, die Zimmer sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen, wobei die wahrscheinlich den Charme ausmacht. Das Frühstück war seht lecker 😋 von richtig englisches Frühstück bis einfaches Toast mit Marmelade. Die Bar im Pub ist sehenswert, wir hatten das Glück einen Abend mit Live-Musik zu verbringen. "My wife and I used this as a one night stop over as part of a leisure trip. We were very happy with our choice. Hotel ( which has great spa facilities ) is a mile or so from village which has a few eating and drinking options if not wanting to eat at hotel. Staff excellent . Clean. Many thanks "

"Liked the property as clean and had a lovely bath. The food was good even if they forgot to put sausages on my breakfast. Very easily sorted one i spotted them missing. Great staff and a nice atmosphere. Busy but not too crowded "
