"You could hear a lot of the jet takeoffs and motorcycles roaring by on the street quite loud. Our side was facing LAX airport so may have been normal but would have been better on back of hotel for getting a room to get sleep. Breakfast burrito and sandwich very greasy if you order from front counter. May be better if you have time to eat in restaurant, but not sure.."

"Good hotel but multiple times i had issue with cleaning crew leaving rags or not having cleaned the room properly. I had blood stains on bedsheets for instance. Really jeed to fix cleaning. "

"A Tale of Two Stays at Hyatt House LAX/Manhattan Beach **Rating: ★★★★☆** I had a very mixed experience at this property, starting with a significant struggle but ending on a high note thanks to some exceptional staff members. **The Initial Shock** Upon arrival, we were assigned a room on the second floor. We were shocked to discover that there was **no elevator** and no assistance available for our luggage. As a guest, I found this completely unacceptable; I nearly injured my back lugging our heavy bags up the stairs. It was a very disappointing and frustrating start to our trip. **The Recovery** The following day, however, the management completely turned our experience around. We spoke with **Elisa and Tema** at the front desk, and they were absolutely wonderful. After hearing about our struggle, they didn’t just move us to the first floor—they upgraded us to a **two-bedroom suite**. **The Stay** The upgrade made the remainder of our stay incredibly comfortable and pleasant. The extra space was exactly what we needed to relax. Additionally, the **breakfast** was very good, offering a great variety and quality to start our days. **Final Verdict** While the lack of an elevator for second-floor rooms is a major physical hurdle that guests should be warned about, the kindness and professionalism of Elisa and Tema saved our vacation. If you stay here, I highly recommend requesting the first floor or seeking out their help!"

"Great stay, hip hotel. We loved the pool, wish there was a hot tub though! The loungers are super comfy. Beds in the room were comfortable, not hard. The room and hotel were very clean. The infused water provided by the hotel in the lobby was refreshing. There’s a cute popcorn machine. Make sure to get a breakfast sand-which in the morning, they are good! We were happy that so many easy dining options were close by, like In-N-Out, Chipotles, a few Chinese restaurants, walgreens and Ralph’s as well. Wish the bar cocktails were a little better priced. Service all around was good from check in to check out. Will stay here again in between layovers * The continental breakfast kind of sucks , you should be able to have that stuff along with a hot item if you want, for the price. "

"Not place to get a drink or have a sit down meal until 4 pm. Pool area was a disaster with towels left everywhere and the used town bin overflowing. Had to clean up other peoples used towels to make a seat for us. And it wasn’t even busy. Heat pool is also not heated. Room and staff were great. Nice and close to airport. Decent place for the price."

"I never saw the pool. I was in an annexed building across the street. I could easily hear my neighbor's loud snoring on one side of my room and a very loud television on the other side, despite using foam earplugs. I had to make three calls for the shuttle service. I had traveled from Pennsylvania to Wash.D.C to LAX and I was very fatigued when I arrived. I waited 50 minutes for the shuttle to arrive and was very frustrated with the poor service. I was given info by the shuttle service about where the pick up was located. Each time I was told the shuttle was on the way. That was a lie. The 3rd time I called, after waiting 40 mins, I asked if I should take a cab. Again I was told the Shuttle would arrive. It finally arrived 10 mins latet, and by then, after standing outside waiting for so long, I was very irritated and pissed off. If the shuttle only runs at scheduled timed, that info should be clearly indicated in the hotel info. I selected this location because I had an early flt out in less than 2 days and the shuttle service was an important part of my decision for selecting this location. I will not be staying at this location again nor I will not recommend it to others. The shuttle experience, lack of truthful info from the shuttle rep. and the disregard for wasting my time after a long travel day is the reason. At this point, I am willing to pay more for timely as well as reliable service."
