I booked and paid for the rooms ($333.06) via Expedia on Friday 11/18/22 before we arrived at the hotel the next day Saturday 11/19/22, we stayed there for two nights, at the front deck I specifically told the clerk Fabian that I had paid the rooms already, he looked at the computer screen and agreed, but after we checked out and came home, Fabian sent a receipt via email and charged us $406.70! Then I called the hotel manager Ann to inquire why I got double charged, She looked at the hotel computer system and said that I booked the room directly with Fabian! that was not right, I booked that room only via Expedia directly, Never talked to Fabian before, it looks like Fabian deleted the Expedia reservation and changed to a directly reservation with him so he could charge me more money. This is wrong. It has happened before when I booked hotels via Expedia, and then got double charged by the hotel, Hilton namely.
When I talked to Fabian when we were checking in the hotel on Saturday 11/19/22, I sensed he was not honest already, sure enough he is a crook, I demand an answer for this so other Expedia members won't be wronged in the future, if this is not resolved, I will take legal action against both Expedia and Holiday Inn Express to protect my rights as a consumer.
