We were able to walk everywhere and it was on the beach. Our 1st night there was a wedding on the beach outside our room and our last night there was an engagement!

Definitely not enough bang for your buck. The rooms are rundown, the stairs are unkempt and unsafe. The woman at the front desk were rude. They charge a resort fee for the “amenities” although half of them are unavailable. Fireplace in the room didn’t work, shower was filthy, no housekeeping, there was blood on the pillow, not enough parking, etc,

Property felt very run down, room was out-dated, very small toilet, old shower, they also had a wedding going on in there tent area which blocks access to the beach/lake and they wont let you through the main walkway to the beach/lake since its an event, (you pay extra for a room close to the water but still end up having to walk all the way around the property due to the tent wedding blocking access) also the wedding had loud music and drunk participants screaming and yelling all night, way past midnight, i get a wedding is supposed to be a once in a lifetime thing, but at the expense of other guest comfort and peace its a bit of a slap in the face from the property owners... the pool was nice, didnt seem to be heated like they said but wasent bad. Hotel staff was very pleasent and kind, Isaah in specific at the front desk was very kind and helpfull. 50/50 on if id return again.

Nicely located on the lake front. Friendly staff at reception. Room was clean and comfortable. The complimentary smores was a nice touch and facility to have the fire pits to do them by the pool.
