"This hotel is outside the city of Lucerne but only 20 minutes away. It is nice and peaceful, which was our preference. The Mt. Pilatus train station in Alpnachstadt is just a few minutes away. We got to enjoy both sunset and sunrise from our balcony. The staff were friendly and professional and the room was clean and uniquely charming but with modern conveniences. The restaurant served excellent local favorite dishes. We look forward to another stay in the coming years. "

"We spent 4 nights there and all the staff was nice and welcoming Good bedding and clean room Unfortunately the weather wasn’t good and we didn’t enjoy the lake and terrace The view from the hotel is beautiful and the location is perfect for hikes near by"

"I love the breakfast buffet. So many breads, ham, cheeses, and more. The view from where I usually eat my breakfast was amazing, overlooking the lake or when it’s not raining, sit outside, have a drink of coffee and watch the ducks swim by or just enjoy the mountain/lake view. The location was about 6mins walk to/from the train station which made my travel to Mt Pilatus and Titlis very short. "perfect stay if you bring your kid to Switzerland. Lots of places to have fun - but sadly could not take a train due to rain 😢 breakfast was also very nice. 10min to Luzern by bus for free with the visitor card. the supermarkenext to the hotel was recommendable."
