Ceilidh Country Lodge
8/10 Good
"The fridge in the room made an awful noise at different intervals. Other than that the place was tired but clean. The staff was very nice."
Silver Dart Lodge
8/10 Good
"Nice place and spacious and well priced for the season. The breakfast buffet was lukewarm warm, but our waitress was very apologetic and sweet. The front desk staff could have been more gracious when asked for the room to be scent free."
Lynwood Inn
10/10 Excellent
"We enjoyed our stay at the Lynwood Inn. Our room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. It’s in a good location for exploring the shops, cafes & restaurants in Baddeck and includes onsite parking. One thing to note is that you may be staying in an annexe building as we were. We dragged our large suitcases up steps and into the main building only to find we’d need to exit again to go to the annexe."
Island Sunset Resort
8/10 Good
"Room was excellent however we did not have any hot water, nor did we have wifi ,the staff was not available, we called the office number provided with no answer. At 10PM someone entered our room startling us, our door was locked so this person entering had to have a key that worked for our room. Checking out the next morning there was no one at the office, I called the number, the person answering would not come to the desk he did not want to hear our concerns this was 10:30 in the morning, he just told me to "leave the key on the desk" and hung up!"
Fair Isle Motel
10/10 Excellent
"Friendly service, clean room, beautiful view of the lake. Far enough of the highway so as not to have sleep interfered with by traffic."
Trailsman Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"We needed a place to stay for 1 night. This place isn’t fancy but it’s clean, comfortable and the shower was hot. The staff is nice and friendly. We saw a bald eagle while eating breakfast! It is close to the road so there was a little traffic noise going by."
Telegraph House
8/10 Good
"Beds were comfortable. Room was clean. And it was so QUIET. Lovely place. If they had someone to help with luggage to get up the stairs, and even a continental breakfast when nothing else is really open around, that would go a long way and would be 5 stars."
Glenora Inn & Distillery
8/10 Good
"Really could use a blanket in the rooms and some place to put wet or muddy shoes when you get into the cabin. But everything was clean. Beds were comfortable. Super quiet and amazing staff and service. However, in the book in the room, there's listed Glenora falls and yet a staff member told us we can't go there because it's on private property. Well, then maybe take it out of the book as a place to go. Loved the shuttle service from and to the cabins so we could enjoy the food, drink and music on the restaurant. Great time!"
Aberdeen Motel
10/10 Excellent
"Clean, conveniently located, pleasant staff, would not hesitate to stay again."
