"Pretty outdated and not kept very well. Lots of patching throughout the walls and ceilings. Wide gaps in the room door and you can’t close the blackout curtains, only the sheer set. Shower floor was stained orange. Toilet overflowed from one piece of tissue multiple times spilling water through the entire bathroom floor and out into the room. Called the front desk and was told they didn’t have anyone for maintenance at the moment, that they would send someone up when someone came in. I had to go...

"The pool was the highlight of the hotel. It was warm and open. I only saw a buffet style breakfast although the restaurant is advertised to be open early. The bar and where I expected to be able to get food was open after midnight on Wednesday, but closed by 9 on Thursday. I had to order food delivered instead. The room was worn. "Beautiful view, very clean !"

"I am writing this review because Harleen saved the day. The room I first entered smelled of a perfume that made it impossible to breathe. I worried that it was the cleaning fluid. Harleen moved heaven and earth to get me into another room and it saved me. I was miserable due to the heat and the beach useless. The a/c is A++++. The mattress is okay. I l brought my own pillow as always. Bathroom nice. High ceilings. Don’t stay on 1st floor. Much nicer on 3rd. Breakfast...

"The staff was very helpful and nice however the bed was very uncomfortable ans there were only two pillows one for me or one for my bg not very supportive pillows either"

"Amanda was lovely: very helpful and she made such delicious breakfasts every morning fresh. The house is charming. It feels like it’s in the middle of the quaintest tiny villages but Hartford is under 30 minutes away and New Haven was an easy 45 minutes. The bed was comfortable and the room was huge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"DEAD BUGS AND COBWEBS under floor level AC, broken table leg, peeling counters, dirty bathroom and running toilets. We didn't even stay the night!! Took a better look when we got back from our event and left the key in the drop box and drove home! Tried to contact hotel and acted like it was no big deal. DEAD BUGS. DONT STAY HERE!!"

"Lodging seekers beware and make sure you bring a UV light to check for left over body fluids as well as a flashlight for bedbugs. Do not, I say again, do not think that the main photo on Expedia is anything like was is actually in place nor do the room photos look anything like what I walked into.
