"A bueatiful lodge at a lovely location. The staff were extremely professional and supportive. The check in process was smooth and everything was explained clearly. The lodge had parking right outside which was very convenient. We had a lovely stay as a family and the whole experience was great with being able to swim, have a arcade and mini golf on site."

"We enjoyed the great history of the hotel along with the very attentive staff and delicious meal we had in the evening. We opted for the suite with a spacious sitting room overlooking the amazing setting. Wonderful!"

"Strange entrance to our room as had to hold the fire door open and room door to get the cases in. Room was clean as was bathroom although bath panel very scruffy. Due to the style of sink turning the tap on causes a tidal wave and wets you through so have to use cautiously! Had to pay for parking as didn’t book directly with hotel."
North Lakes Hotel And Spa

"Stayed whilst visiting the Lakes. Hotel was perfect for us as a family with children age 10 to 16. The buffet breakfast was a good selection, children loved the pancake machine. We also loved the pool, you had to pay extra but I felt this was worth it, the pool was a good size and steam room, sauna and jacuzzi nice for adults to relax. The hotel had a nice atmosphere, nice reception area with lovely open fire to sit by."

"Beautiful hotel, but the leisure facilities were disappointing The Grange is a beautifully decorated hotel with a lovely atmosphere. We particularly enjoyed the carvery, which was absolutely delicious and a real highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, our experience was somewhat spoiled by a large coach party staying at the hotel. The behaviour of some of the children was particularly poor, especially around the swimming pool, which made it difficult to enjoy what should have been a relaxing experience. The pool changing rooms were also rather cramped and could benefit from more space. Overall, there is a great deal to like about this hotel, particularly its attractive interiors and excellent food. However, better supervision of the pool area and improvements to the changing facilities would make a significant difference to the guest experience."
