"The stay overall was quite good but it was a disappointing experience. After booking we where informed that work was taking place and we may be subjected to noise. I made contact to explain this was to be a special break for my Wife's 60th Birthday and they should have warned us about possible disruption before booking. "Beautiful hotel and facilities. We loved our room - the bathroom was amazing! Heating and hot water broke on Friday so shower/bath was lukewarm and cold room. which spoiled our evening a little, unfortunately. Staff were lovely and resolved it ready for the next day/eve. Breakfast was wonderful on Sat/Sunday with great choice and quality. Surrounding area is beautiful and we made use of the chauffeur service to come back from our evening at the gorgeous (and highly recommended) Royal Oak...
