"Absolutely loved our stay here. A once in a lifetime place to visit. My kids were amazed as it literally looks like you are driving into Jurassic park. Our room was beautiful with a full open view of the volcano and just gle. We woke up to monkeys in the trees, saw probably 100 species of different rainforest moths. Clean and comfortable room. My only issue was that we had several venomous wandering spiders in our hotel room which was quite scary with 2 young children with us. I...

"The gardens are incredible and the many humming birds were a joy. I have been in many art galleries with local art. This is one of the better galleries created from many talented artists."

"The view and the owner/hostess made our stay! The personal attention at breakfast was delightful. This feels more like renting a villa with a morning chef than like a hotel. There are a couple good restaurants at the bottom of the hill for dinner. The drive to La Fortuna is 30 minutes. Be aware there is no air conditioning. There are windows with screens on 3 sides of the villa so the breeze is nice. In the morning you’ll hear a beautiful symphony of birds. I would stay here again."

The staff were very forgiving of my limited Spanish. A little harder to get to but worth the drive. The restaurant on property was excellent. Just a small sidenote… There was no air conditioner in my smaller room. I knew this going into it and the nice breeze that was almost constant."

"One of a kind place to stay! Very comfortable and well equipped with great attention to detail. There are AC, fans, heaters. Kitchenette has all needed appliances. We stayed for one night only, but wished our travel schedule would have allowed to stay there for at least two nights. Place is very car dependent, located further from downtown."
