The accomodation was in a great location, near some of the best beaches in Lagos, and a short walk from the town centre. The rooms were fairly clean and well sized and the pool area was nice. Despite this, there are a number of property's in the vicinity that are significantly better value for money as this accommodation was expensive.

Great location, close to lots of great restaurants. Apartment was outdated, especially the bathroom. Very uncomfortable beds. There's an extra charge for pool towels which is a bit odd. Beautiful pool.

The apartment was much larger than I expected (it’s two floors) and was clean and well kept. The building is in a very quiet part of town on top of a hill (be prepared to have sore calves), and the pool is beautiful with views of the ocean. The biggest downside was the receptionist is barely at there so you need to be self sufficient your entire stay.

Amazing stay at Baluarte da Vila Apartments

We had an amazing stay at this property. We arrived by train from Lisbon and took an Uber to our hotel which is very affordable, about 5 euro. Our one bedroom duplex was spacious and clean. The staff is very nice and helpful. The hotel is very central, about a 10 minute walk to the old, historic part of town with lots of restaurants, shops. There is a grocery store nearby as well. The trail along the beaches is also about a 10 minute walk. There are lots of amazing beaches to discover in the area. I would stay at this property again.

Comfortable and convenient

Easy check in, very helpful front desk and fantastic property. Kitchen had all the basics and small fridge. Living space was perfect as was bedroom and bath. Easy walking to restaurants and parking in the area.

Beautiful, spacious, and ideally located. We felt as if we were staying in a five-star resort. An extraordinary value, at least in April when we were there. We simply could not have been more pleased.

Très bien!

Appartement très propre et bien équipé. Très bon suivi et très bons services du début à la fin des sympathiques propriétaires Conceicao et Benoit qui parlent tous les 2 français. Allez-y en confiance. Cependant sachez qu'il y a beaucoup de marches à monter vers l'appartement qui est au 4 ème étage et pas d'ascenseur. Pour nous ça n'a pas été un problème. Vous êtes aussi dans un quartier typique Lisbonnais Bairro Alto.

Confort extreme dans un calme absolu

La situation de l'hotel est exceptionnelle. Sur les hauteurs de Lagos avec une vue imprenable sur l'Ocean deja depuis la rue. Le quartier est local et typique mais on rejoint le centre ville pavé avec tous les commerced en 5mn à pieds. Quant à Jessica elle est parfaite ! Elle nous a arrangé une sortie en mer exactement comme nous la voulions nous permettant ainisi de ne pas aller prospecter tous les stands ! Elle est toujours souriante et avenante ! L'appartement etait parfaitement équipé et d'un grand confort ! Si nous retournons a Lagos, c'est là que nous séjournerons a nouveau !

Excellent, quiet hotel

Hotel is high up on the hill, a 5 minute walk up from the town. Although it was hard to get into on first arrival, just as we arrived at 11am someone was leaving so let us in. There was someone on the desk and although we were not due to book in from 3pm they had one of the two rooms ready and we were able to leave our bags etc. The hotel is lovely, although there is no bar or restaurant. The pool has plenty of sunbeds and room to sunbathe. Our two 1 bedroom apt, were both spacious and had everything we needed from toaster, microwave, hairdryer. Great hotel, very quiet, very reasonably priced. Loved it.

Eine gute Unterkunft in optimaler Lage. Hätten nicht anders wohnen wollen. Die Nähe zur Lagune und Altstadt mit Aussicht über die Bucht war optimal. Die Apartments sind zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber absolut sauber und schön.

Close to the beach

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was beautiful. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The apartment was clean and huge! There is a beautiful pool and the apartments are close to everything. 5 minute walk to the beach!

Great apartment near town and beach

Loved this place!! Well exceeded our expectations. We had a one bedroom which had a sitting room/kitchen and toilet on ground floor. First floor had a twin bedroom which was quite large as well as a full bathroom. Up the stairs to the second floor - was a private roof deck with beautiful views! Pool was very nice too. Not too windy which was great. Will absolutely stay here again.

En general, el hotel es muy recomendable. Lo mejor es la ubicación. Está situado en una calle muy tranquila, muy cerca de las playas y de la zona de bares y restaurantes.

opholdet var dejligt, hottellet var hyggeligt og godt beliggende! hvis man skal klage lidt er, at det var småt med plads til fire i den lejlighed og får får stole og service kunne godt være til os alle. Men når det er sagt kan vi kun anbefale et ophold her.

Perfect location and personnel

Perfect location. 5min walk to the centrum and to a supermarket. 10min walk to all beaches. Personnel was awesome. The fridge in our room didn't cool as normal so when we told about it in the evening they changed it early next day. Allthough the check-in ended at 20.00 there was staff waiting for us as long as needed since we informed our later arrival. So there wasn't any kind of problem at all. What brings the overall rating to 4 instead of 5 is the pool which wasn't cleaned properly. They did cleansed the inside walls of the pool but all the dirt was left to lay on the bottom of it. If we go back to Lagos we will book the hotel again.
