"We had a wonderful stay at the Kandy House. Its location outside the central area allowed us to have a tranquil and restful break from the hustle of the city. Yet, we were still within about a 10 minute drive of the Kandy Lake area. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was particularly roomy. "Staff were excellent, as was the breakfast. Not the hotel’s fault but there are many stray dogs in the area which although friendly enough when you walk near them spend most of the night howling or barking or fighting which made sleeping very difficult. "

Location from kandy Town is about 2km, but it is so deep inside an area that you won't have phone signals or event street light when it is night. Me and both my parents were given 3 bottles of small mineral water for our 7 night stay at the hotel!! Bathroom shampoo and body shower only been given ONCE!
