"Upon arrival i was taken aback. There was a tarp on the roof on signs of construction in the front yard. In order to get into the home you have to walk around the house to the back door. Upon entry there were signs of water damage in the ceiling. Fast forward l....had electricity upon check-in but after returning, about 5 hours later the electricity said look for me.....yeah not an ounce of electricity at the residence. The home could really use an update. Aside from the electrcity issue, i felt...

Comfort Suites Oil Center

8/10 Good

"Good rooms. Breakfast also good. Showers need updating or remodeling."

Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Lafayette by IHG

8/10 Good

"Hotel was nice inside, seems to be in a safe area had no problems. Staff was friendly and checked in and out fast. Breakfast was good, no bacon on this day just sausage and turkey sausage which was good. Scrambled eggs and fried potatoes pretty typical breakfast. Room was clean and beds were semi comfortable and also clean, that did squeak a lot when shifting around. The two things that were negatives were, the bathtub scraps the skin a little on the bottom tub and had a little mold staining in the caulk around the tub. The second one was a biggie to me we couldn’t get the door to lock with the dead bolt it would not align. We called down to the front desk to report it, but noting was done before we left in the morning. So it could’ve been a shift change thing and it didn’t get passed down to the maintenance. Parking was a little tight, especially for bigger vehicles and not a lot of extra spaces They had an outdoor pool that they said it was still open and heated, but we did not try it. Just an FYI, the roads around it are like NY traffic They’re constantly busy until around 6 PM. During our stay there, I could not figure out why. So recommending go out out by the lights, makes it easier to cross traffic. For the area, it was reasonably priced like I said seem like you’re safe area I would stay again"

Holiday Inn & Suites Lafayette North by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"The room were vey spacious and clean, one thing I didn’t like the I inform the customer service representative I would like for my room to clean for the next day. When the housekeep knocked on the door, I asked her will she clean my and sheets on one the bed and her response, was would you like to put the sheets on the bed. No, that’s not job and we returned the room was not clean no bed were not made up and the only thing she done put other towels and a small tiny Dove soap on the bath towel. This is the only complaint that I have about my stay about the hotel..I feel like I should be credit or have a discount on my next stay. Thanks, please take my compliment into consideration."
