"Although I only stayed for one night it was one of the most enjoyable experiences I’ve had at a hotel. The welcome was pleasant and there was a positive, helpful response to the many questions I had. The bedding was a real highlight and I’m making plans to revamp my own at home. I did notice some minor issues from people not taking care and it would be a shame if this was to affect the condition of facilities for future visitors. Everyone was so accommodating, breakfast was so good. I had the tastiest chocolate croissant I’ve had so far in life. Grateful for to 10% discount I received to use towards future bookings as I’m now keen to check out other locations. "

"The Schweizerhof is a grand old hotel with lots of elegant extra touches, like fresh fruit in the room and exceptionally attentive staff. Our room showed signs of recent renovation, with modern lights and light switches, and beautifully fresh and clean walls/furniture. The desk had outlets for four different types of plugs (UK, Europe, US, Swiss), very handy for international travelers. The only issue was that the tub drain was very slow, the only sign that this is an old hotel building. "
