"Great property with fabulous, well kept rooms and lovely staff. A great pool area and lots of activities for families as well as a nice play area. Breakfast not so great sadly, eggs were green, bread and pastries were stale and hard, even juice was bitter and acidic. Sadly no vegetarian food at the restaurant last night either so, have left hungry… but it was a really nice hotel. If you’re not bothered about food, it’s definitely worth the stay!"

"Stunning building. Lots of rooms so rates are often me of the cheapest in town. Rooms are somewhat old fashioned but it doesn’t matter. I’ve stayed here about 10 times and will always be my first choice when in La Rioja. Parking on the street is free if you can find a space. The restaurant opposite (Arrope) also has a fantastic wine selection by the glass with tasting machines so a great spot to relax in"

"Close to the cathedral and the Arch of Santa Maria. Also many bars within these areas for eating out or inside with pintxos dishes. Cathedral lit up at night so very good to sit outside with a beer and some pintxos. The hotel rooms are well equipped. The only problem is trying to check in. There is an area with is narrow outside the reception, but when my husband parked to check in, I stayed in the car and it appears to be a thoroughfare for other vehicles, so one fella tried to push through and was gesticulating for me to move, which I couldn't. Then another woman came and got out the car and spoke loudly in Spanish for me to move. I said I cannot understand, so she signalled for me to phone for my husband and move. Is this not an area for to check in, not sure?. I was annoyed with the problems I had while waiting to be checked in so they should have a particular area to park."
