"Stayed at Hyatt Regency La Jolla for one night. Overall a good experience for the price. Room was clean and comfortable, staff were normal and helpful when needed. "So the pool and hot tub were under construction, but they did offer a transport to another close pool if we wanted. The location was perfect, they staff was super helpful. The restaurant was completely booked and we didn't realize it was reservation only but they offered us carryout. The only complaint I really have is that it was super loud, the walls were like thin or our neighbors were loud! Also the screen on the balcony would get jammed and we hard to open and shut. "Check in was insanity. Only 2 front desk people at 4pm check in time caused a line out the door. At one point an additional staff member came in and then left. Furthermore, there's not enough parking space with the restaurant and the renatl car place all in the same area so blocking off 2 entire sections for charter buses and still charging $40 to park is a bit ridiculous. The hotel itself is alway on point but lack of staff and the ridiculous parking space with such a hefty fee needs some...

"The parking was safe and easy, the housekeeping was kind and friendly, the front desk didn’t make me feel welcomed and we had to wait until 4:40 pm for check in so past check in time even though they told me it was ready. It was my birthday weekend and the staff wasn’t the best at pivoting any special requests. Will not stay again."

"Got a parking pass. Room was great. There is a microwave available in the Ice Machine area. The pool are was very nice. I did not have breakfast so do jot know about it. I would stay here again. I also appreciated the QR code for cashless tipping!"

"Beds were not comfortable, super soft mattress. I weigh 112 lbs and I sunk into the mattress. "

"Very good location, walking distance of the coves. So much shopping nearby. Also near a very safe part of town. Rooms cozy so would recommend one person to a room with one bed. Staff super friendly and helpful. Would come back. "

"Significant understaffing through out the hotel not acceptable for this grand and historic property. Lots of extra fees on the checkout bill, almost funny except it wasn't. Late checking us in. Room and shower were nice. Location is great. "
