"Lots of car parking. Discount availability at local restaurants. Friendly check in staff. Room was clean with comfortable bed. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate was free from dining room. Kettle in your own room."

"Sadly this was not good. Can’t understand the wonderful reviews. The carpet in room 121 was absolutely disgusting. Badly stained and even threadbare patch. Certainly not what you would expect on a 4* property and not at 115 euros. Bartender was sitting at a table talking, when asked for service he said he would be along but continued to leave us waiting. The restaurant had a limited menu also so after the fiasco with drinks we walked into town-lots of choice of restaurants and bars. The state of the carpet in the room creeped me out. Will definitely not be back. Stayed at many mercure hotels as we travel through France & Spain 4 times a year. This one really lets the group down "
