"Small boutique hotel. A little hipster, but even though we're not that demographic, we loved it. We got the junior suite, which was still a pretty small room. But the kindness of the staff makes up for it. I got ill during my trip and they gave us suggestions for which farmacia to go to for medicine. They also helped us order a bowl of plain rice from the restaurant. The attached restaurant is very nice. The continental breakfast that was included in our rate includes eggs, yogurt, fruit, juice, and coffee. Very tasty and filling."

"The Maria Condesa is in a fantastic location—close to great restaurants and cafés and situated in a safe, walkable area of Mexico City. The made-to-order breakfast each morning was a wonderful way to start the day, and Chef Pedro was incredibly kind and accommodating. Our rooms were spacious, clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Our only disappointment involved the amenities that were advertised when we booked through Expedia. Our reservation included a complimentary bottle of wine for each room (we booked two rooms) and listed an airport shuttle as an available amenity. When we asked about the wine, the front desk told us there would be an extra charge but said they would look into it. Unfortunately, we never received the wine. Since we were celebrating both our anniversary and a birthday, this was a bit disappointing. We also found out that the advertised airport shuttle was not actually available. Instead, the hotel offered to arrange a trusted taxi service for an additional fee. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Maria Condesa and would recommend it for its excellent location, comfortable accommodations, and friendly staff. We simply hope the amenities listed on Expedia are updated so future guests have accurate expectations when booking."
