"Room was spotless, staff were very helpful and the buffet was one of the best buffets I have ever had. The pool is extremely awkward- it’s just a corner of the restaurant and there is no patio around it. The bar on the roof has a great ambiance though. All in all 9/10."

"Hello, thank you for your follow up email. Yes, we had a very comfortable and relaxed stay at AR 218. The rooms were modern, spacious, very clean and centrally located within La Condesa. Your staff was extremely helpful, friendly and alway willing to address any requests and questions. We truly enjoyed our visit to beautiful Mexico and we would definitely recommend this hotel and stay at AR 218 again! Beautiful neighborhood, quite and accessible to great food and amenities and only 20-35 minutes from the historic center, great museums and so much more! Thank you!!! Best, Claudia M."

"I wish I could give five stars. If I was younger, I would try to buy this hotel and turn it into a gem. The staff is FANTASTIC!!! Young women and men who trying to please. Great communication skills. Good location. Just a few issues: 1. Housekeeping needs training. Every day is a hit or miss...One day they forget to leave washcloths. They only leave one hand towel. No place to hang the bath towels. On hook by the shower where the bathrobe is hanging. One day they hang the wet towels on top of the dry bathrobe. Other times, they changed the towels. There is only one trashcan in this room and it is in the bedroom. No trash can in the bathroom. Another time they washed the coffee cup but not the little spoon which was stuck to the saucer with dried up coffee... 2. You get two Nespresso pods for free on the first day. Any time after, you get charged for the Nespresso pods used in the room. Seriously!! Never saw this in any other hotel in my life. 3. No kettle in the room and no tea for tea drinkers. 4. The hotel rooms are not very well insulated. When somebody walks in the hallway, you hear the steps. 5. The terrace is nice for breakfast. The omelette maker chef is amazing. Great omelettes. The waiter we had every day was very service oriented. No view from the terrace...very "urban" setting. I very much wish that the hotel management to fix the issues above. They leave a bad taste. Overall it is an OK hotel in a good location."
