A clean and well maintained hotel with friendly staff and comfortable rooms. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was a good size. The room amenities were good quality and readily available at the reception by the entrance for you to help yourself. Overall it was a great stay and I would book this hotel again.

The property was located on a quiet street. Walkable to dining and shopping. The hotel was clean and the staff was great

Great hotel especially considering the price. Room was small but that is typical in Japan. An amazing soaking tub and massage chair. Would return and recommend. In an area where you can walk to busier parts of town or easily grab a cab. Very clean and quiet!

Great courteous staff and hotel, walking distance with Nijo castle and nikishi market. my only beef is the rooms are too small even the ones with twin bed and the breakfast has very limited options.

The reason I booked this hotel was because I were staying at the other hotel at first and I don't like, I saw this and it just right next to it so that why I booked it and just 1 night I'm happy with this hotel the daytime staffs was pretty nice but night shift staffs was little bit rude. Overall this is one of the unique small hotel, I will come back next time if I travel again

Convenient location to subway stations, walking distance to Nishiki Market and the Gion district. The staff was very helpful and even guided us to Fushimi Inari Taisha. Many dining options nearby.

Lovely stay
Great location, convenient with transportation, restaurants, and yet is quiet at night. Offers Japanese style breakfast with basic/classic Western selections. Staffs would leave water, tea bags, and towels in a paper bag at the door if you opt out of house keeping service. Very considerate. Bathroom is very spacious with a tub (spacious in both Japanese and Western standard). Would certainly stay here again.
