The staff were amazing! They were super helpful with storing my luggage & they all spoke some English too! I was super impressed with the location; the cleanliness; the value- this so far has been my favourite place to stay on my trip!

Loved my stay at Len, met some really nice people and had a great time. Rooms are clean, beds are comfy and facilities are great Great location to getting to all the main tourist spots and some local bars and restaurants Would definitely stay again!

King room was very spacious and bed was plenty big enough although it was uncomfortable to sleep in the centre but for two people that would be fine. Was a bit loud because of the traffic but was given ear plugs which helped block it out almost completely. Overall had a great stay.

Cool hostel, great location for Kyoto
Cool hostel with a vibey bar downstairs. Decent hostel for meeting people, which is rare in Japan. Kitchen and common area could be bigger, but they likely want you to spend time in the bar downstairs. Kitchen had everything you needed like oil/herbs etc. beds had good privacy with curtains and were reasonably comfortable, with plug and light for each bunk. Only 2 showers per floor sometimes meant a little wait. Place was clean and staff were friendly. Free tea was a nice touch.

Great hostel with excellent craft beer selection.
Lovely place. Bedrooms are comfortable and the shared lounge spaces are nice and relaxing. The bar is great as well with an EXCELLENT beer selection. Was surprised to see a favourite craft brewery of mine from Toronto there.

Nice hostel, great location
Hostel was quiet, didn’t come across many people. Common areas kept very clean by staff. Beds were comfy. Cafe in lobby a bit expensive for coffee or beers. Walkable to many restaurants, stops, and transit stations. Overall we had a nice time here, would recommend.

Really nice atmosphere in the common areas and lobby bar/cafe. The bed was very old and the provided towels smelled off. Noise isolation very poor, could not get a restful sleep despite being in a private room.

Great location, lovely staff, very clean. Very good prices. Bus stop basically right in front, and 7-eleven only 2 min away. The cafe and bar seem to be well-known, so there are chances to meet locals. The one event they hosted during my time there was a blast - live music, live art, good food and drinks. Staff give EXCELLENT restaurant recommendations. If you arrive too early for check-in, they can hold onto your bags and leave them in a room that is only accessible to staff which is very nice. I think the only negative is that I wish they had the fancier toilets haha. I had a great stay at Len and highly recommend.

The bar downstairs made for a great spot for a drink before bed, but if you prefer a quieter space there was also a room upstairs where you could relax.

Room was a standard hostel room, a bit hard to sleep because the person above me moved a lot. Otherwise, an amazing option. Has a really cool cafe that turns into a bar at night.

Cozy Hostel and Cafe!
Thank you for a wonderful stay! The staff here was friendly and accommodating. I messaged them because I was delayed getting in (they have 10 pm check in cutoff) and they waited for me, no problem :) beds were comfy and clean, shower pressure good, towels and locks for rent ($1) and locks available on property, about $2 deposit, and you get the money back once you check out. Little cafe was nice, good coffee and cocktails at night! Short bus ride from Kyoto station or 30 minute walk! Highly recommend Len Kyoto :)

Stylish hotel with a breakfast to die for
The hotel was OK. Be warned that you'll have to put on your own mattress and pillow covers. The breakfast in the café downstairs, however, was to die for. Get the point breakfast with a coffee, you will certainly be happy you did.

Trendy hostel 7 minute walk to city square
- Really cool hostel, lots of people come to the cafe so it has a great vibe to hang out at. - Staff are welcoming, but just a reminder they don't have card facilities so must pay cash. There is a convenient with an ATM a few minutes walk away. - I stayed in an all female dorm of 6. There are a few rooms on each level which share a bathroom with 2 showers and 3 toilet. Had to wait to use the bathroom a little bit but never super long. - the top bunk is quite high up, and each bed has curtains around for privacy. the beds in our room were sort of in a circle so if you opened the curtains you could all see each other. There's a floor space in the middle to open bags and then they can be stored under the bed so not too cluttered, which was nice and a lot more spacious than others hostels I experienced in Japan. - there is one common room for hostel guests on level 2 (I think) which is quite nice and has a kitchen and laundry. I didn't really go there since it's on a different level, and one time I went to use the laundry there were a fair few people in there but they were all very quiet so I didn't use it as I didn't want to disturb them. - a 30 or so minute walk to a JR line - 7 minute walk to city square where there is lots of food and shops, and subway line to connect to JR - would recommend

Great boutique hostel
We stayed at Len for one night and loved it. The staff are all incredibly friendly, the bar area is really cool and the food and drinks are great. The food in particular was really good, especially for the price. The craft beer is expensive but that seems the case all over Japan. We had a twin bunk room which was no frills but nicely done never-the-less. The shared bathrooms are clean and modern. If I return to Kyoto, I'd definitely stay here.

Very Trendy Hostel
This is a very impressive hostel, stylish and modern with excellent facilities. The private room was extremely spacious and very comfortable beds. The cafe/bar is buzzing and the hotel staff are all so friendly, even recommending local eateries that we would not have otherwise tried. The common room had a great set up and modern, clean kitchen facilities. Look no further if you're considering the Len Kyoto Kawaramachi :)

Worth every cent!
Lovely accomodation, great bathroom space and bedding was comfortable. Really clean and well set up. Staff are very friendly and speak good English. The bar on the ground floor is great, made it hard to want to leave!

A perfect rating isn't even enough
My experience with Len Kyoto has been nothing short of amazing! The rooms are tidy and spacious, while the facilities are always kept clean by the staff. The ground floor which transforms to a cafe during the day and to a bar during the evening provides the perfect atmosphere to jumpstart your morning and relax at night after roaming the streets of Kyoto. The luggages are kept in a secure (locked) dedicated room before check-in or after check-out so you don't have to worry about carrying your stuff while exploring more of Kyoto outside your booked period. However, the greatest asset of this hostel are its staff who are all extremely friendly and courteous! They have never, not even once, missed saying a "thank you" for even the smallest stuff nor failed to greet first thing in the morning, before leaving the hostel, and when you got back from your gallivanting. All these done with the sincerest smile! I will definitely be staying again at this hostel the next time I visit Kyoto. :)

一般的なビジネスホテルに、レンのようなバーがあるところはないように思います。１Fのバーでクラフトビールを飲んで、部屋に上がって寝る。サイコーです。ビール以外にも色々あって、お酒好きにはおすすめです！

OSAJIのアメニティ！
いつも京都に泊まるときには利用させていただいています。今回は、OSAJIのアメニティがシャワー室に使われていることに感動しました！キッチンやラウンジの雰囲気の良さもとても気に入っています。またお世話になりますね。
近くでワインを仕入れてラウンジで飲みました！
最近は京都でクラフトビールの種類も増えて嬉しいです。

너무나 만족스러운 호스텔
처음에는 이러한 호스텔이 처음이라 걱정했습니다만 정말로 만족하게되었습니다. 1층이 바인지라 여러사람들을 만날 수 있습니다. 언어에 어느정도 능숙하시다면 먼저 말도 걸어보고 여행에 대해 추천도 받을 수 있고 좋습니다. 또한 모든 스태프 분들도 친절하셔서 좋습니다. 스태프분들에게서 추천을 받을 수도 있고요. 바에서 파는 음식도 매우 맛있어서 좋았습니다.

環境很美
環境很好，位置由河原町站走過去十分鐘，雖然未試過它的咖啡及啤酒，但氣氛十分好，晚上是酒吧。
