If you’re looking for the perfect traditional Kyoto house stay, this is the one. Such a nice house that was very relaxing to stay in. My only complaint was that the outdoor bath was too shallow, however the the bath in the alcove next to it was perfect.

Good experience and large house, a little bit older than expected and location a bit far from places. Be aware there is no reception and check in is a little bit confusing.

Staff were friendly and accommodating but note there might be a language difference. Area was close to most transportations and the Ryokan was very big.

The stay was only 1 night but it was an amazing experience. I’d recommend to anyone staying in Kyoto that they stay at least one night at this property

We had our own house with four rooms, a nice bathroom and a little garden. The Japanese breakfast prepared in the room was amazing. We recommend this hotel to people who want to stay in a Japanese stile.

일본 숙소하면 좁다란 생각을 가지고 방문했는데 여긴주택 전체를 사용하여 4인가족이 편하게 지내다 왔습니다. 먼지를 찾아볼수없을 정도로 깨끗했어요. 다음에도 쿄토 여행 온다면 예약하고 싶을정도로 만족합니다.

Authentique et cosy
Ryokan exceptionnel, grand et élégant. Le jacuzzi “traditionnel” et le petit jardin agrémente ce lieu hors du commun. Seuls points négatifs : Pas tout à fait central (sans être loin) et assez coûteux mais un souvenir memorable dans cette ville dépaysante
