Avoid! Even for a smoker, this is your worst nightmare.
As soon as you walk in you are greeted by the stench of cigarette smoke, one you will become familiar with if you don’t immediately exit the hotel.
The staff here are friendly and welcoming, and we checked in with them and headed to our room very quickly. We opened the door to our room, and the ever familiar smell of cigarette fumes had engulfed the room. We headed straight back downstairs to change rooms, we had inadvertently booked a smoking room so we upgraded to a non smoking room.
The non smoking room was old, dirty and still had cigarette ingrained into the fabric of the building. The throw had stains, the wallpaper was peeling off and the lighting was horrific.
We left and booked another hotel - there are plenty of hotels a similar price to this one which offer a much better service.
