Nice cheap place to stay, close to everything in Kuta/legian. Room cleaned daily, and kept in good condition. Pool area great to have a drink, could use some better bartenders due to how busy it gets with the cocktail specials but all in all great stay for what you pay

I booked a room with a queen bed and a single bed but got a room with a queen bed only and they expected my granddaughter to sleep with me and my wife.That is not good enough

We absolutely loved the location of the hotel very close to Beachwalk shopping Centre, beach and trendy restaurants. The service is fantastic and the pools are beautiful, we cant wait to come back. The rooms are immaculate and very clean !. :)

This property has everything for all kinds of travellers,young to old.The rooms are comfortable and kept to a good standard,with housekeeping cleaning and attending to our needs.Nothing was too much trouble.The breakfast was excellent, a choice of 6 hot dishes with option of eggs done however you like then.Fresh fruit,cereal,juices,and a selection of pastries.The pool area can get a bit noisy during the day but was rarely used after 7pm.It is only a short walk to Kuta beach,shopping centres,and many warungs and restaurants close by.

Amazing stay as always. Helpful and friendly staff. Lots of good food options. The currency exchange at the hotel is pretty good as well. Close to beach walk and Kuta beach.

Good location and friendly staff. However air conditioner was leaking and the washroom was moldy. Hotel staff also charged us express fees for laundry services without informing us beforehand.

Always a great stay at the Barong. Great pool area and cocktails, plentiful buffet breakfast, central location, plenty of options for massages @ $7/hour, money exchange at reception ... what more could one want? See you next time!

While this place isn’t huge, it was comfortable, central, and had great staff. The rooms were clean, lots of space, and accessible. Swimming pool was good for adults (maybe not as exciting as a larger resort for kids), swim up bar was open daily, and the staff enjoyed chatting. We’ll be back.

Some of the staff were really great, but most were quite rude and dismissive. Breakfast was just awful, save your money and get it somewhere else (or just get room service). The main pool was very cloudy with a slight green tinge. The second pool was clean, but pool bar wasn’t open. The decking around it also needs repair (got a few crackers of wood stuck in my foot). The 2 bedroom isn’t actually two bedrooms, it has one separate room while the other “room” just has two single beds in the corner of the kitchen/dining room. Definitely not worth paying extra. Location was fine if you’re happy walking everywhere, but getting a taxi takes a long time getting there (like 30mins from Waterbom) due to the narrow single lane of Poppies II. Don’t roam the hallways at night, they don’t have anyone collecting dishes outside the doors so you have a few feral cats enjoying their fill of people’s leftovers. Not suitable for those that want to go to bed before 9pm, loud music plays til late.

Had to change rooms 3 times in w days because shower was working or air conditioning. Rooms are very small. The lighting is very bad, shower has no door and water goes everywhere.
