A very large spa hotel overlooking a beatiful lake. Excellent breakfast in a dramatic setting. Had a Chinese feel to it due to size and furnishings.

I went to Lake Akan area mainly for the onsen. This hotel offers private onsen with a free. I enjoyed the privacy.

Over priced due to a festival
Well, hospitality wasn't like any other Japanese hotel (which is very very high level) and I had some weird white bugs/mold coming from the wooden wall I paid a lot for this as there was a festival in the town. I would recommend trying to find another place

Though the property is old is has personality & character. Staff was very helpful & they have nice onsen family.
