"The hostel room was crammed, but I knew that before arriving there. There was no locker for my bag, so I placed it next to my shoebox room. There were a lot of rustling noises in the morning, as people kept leaving and entering the room. Some guests also snored. There's no common area, so guests ate or talked at a long table, which so happened to be outside my room. Overall, it was an okay experience. "

"Great location as the hotel is tucked away on a side street off the main road. Excellent options for food, plenty of convenience stores around and the metro within a short walk away or the JR station 10 mins walk via the back streets avoiding the main road leading to either Electric town or Ameyoko market opposite direction to each other. Staff were excellent and engaging to talk to and a welcoming pack about the hotel and neighbourhood was a good touch. Appreciate free offering for guest...

"Staff was very friendly. The hotel was surprisingly clean, organized, and well equipped. The washer/dryer in the room was nice with the provided laundry detergent. The bathroom and kitchen were clean with all utensils wrapped in plastic bags for cleanliness. I was able to leave my luggage after check out which were locked up by staff. The room was spacious with king size bed. I would definitely stay here again."

"Overall, everything was excellent: the room was very clean, and the location was very convenient. We truly appreciated these aspects. However, I found the mattress to be too soft, which made it less comfortable for me. In addition, during my 11‑night stay, I noticed that cleaning service required an extra charge. I feel that it would be better if cleaning could be provided at least once or twice during a longer stay without additional cost."

"Good location, there’s underground access direct to Shinjuku station"

Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Tokyo - Shiodome

8/10 Baik

" The hotel is overall good being modern n clean looking with a touch of class. Location is ok with Shiodome odeo line being under the same roof nearby n the Ginza Asakusa line bit further away. The smaller rooms are tight but there are larger ones. It has everything u need with Japanese clinical efficiency. It felt a bit robotic. A negative would be their strict check out policy. I wanted to check out at 12pm instead of 11am..non nego 2k yen.. "Even if u stay 10 nights said the night officer in charge" .. that is rather cold."
