This is an amazing resort. The highlights are the scenic setting on the cliffs, and the private beach! Be aware that you reach the resort by boat. You can walk the monkey trail into town but it's a long walk. You reserve boats to go into town or for any sight seeing excursions. If you stay late in Krabi you can hail a water taxi if necessary. The cost was about 700 THB. If you want to get away from it all you can't beat this resort. The only downside is the extra time and planning required when you want to do anything off property.

Extremely private resort in Krabi. Beautiful property - the photos do not do this place justice. Accessible only by boat or via monkey trail - this keeps the property private but makes it more difficult to access the town. Friendly and helpful staff. The included breakfast buffet was fantastic.

Travelling with kids (10 and 8 years old), they loves the pool! Great breakfast! I did not rate it a 5 start only because trying to get the hotel to arrange transport was really difficult. Just arrange hotel transfer from the airport through Klook. Only 635 Bhat, vs. 1500 that the hotel wanted to charge. Book shuttle back right away or there may not be room.

Horrible horrible and absolutely unacceptable customer service. I have been traveling around Thailand several times and I have never experienced such a rude non carrying staff members in any hotels around Thailand. We felt unwelcome from the moment we arrived and every interaction with a front desk service or other staff members felt like we are inconvenience to them. No one ever explained us about the property how to reserve a shuttle boat or any other amenities within the resort. Front desk staff never answers the phone when you tried to call them and when you approach them in person, they avoid a conversation and not giving you a straight answer. This is not acceptable especially in a place where customer service is the key

This is a very challenging property. The management is clearly either not in control or there is little training. The person taking us to our room was lost. Instead of getting a golf cart we walked up and down the hill. The staff do not say hello or smile. There was construction by our room. Nothing was done after a complaint. A note about changing rooms was never done. Complete confusion. The food is below average so people go elsewhere. The facilities are worn and tired.

The hotel has the best view in the world from a hotel. And this is what you pay for... We had a deluxe room but I would say the view only made it deluxe. The room had alot of damaged furniture, cupboards not shutting or stains on the floor. Floor was not mopped so was very dirty. The bed is rattan so it does sound like it's broken when you get on the bed. But the bed was very comfortable dispite this. The windows in the room are very strange as with it being frosted you can still see shadows. The coast restaurant serves very nice food and I feel is the most reasonable out of all the restaurants. The Indian terrible food and nothing like Indian food. Thai restaurant we got stung on the first night at the hotel we kept asking before going in how much this would be. No one told us and told us it's a buffet. We were charged over £96 English pounds which is crazy money. But we didn't dispute it as what was the point the food was nice. The hotel shuttle with the boat is a little inconvenient at times due to the times available. Monkey trail we didn't try this as people said it is way to dangerous. The pier is interesting and could do with an investment on building a proper one. The prices are to high in the restaurants. Overall we would love to return the hotel does need updating showing more as a 4* not 5* and would be nice for an adult only pool to built as the relaxing pool had no loungers and looked abandoned.

Our room was great and view quite nice. The customer service was a bit odd. They did not let us know our room was ready for over an hour. The front desk seemed constantly confused. The hotel is a bit isolated you need to take a Monkey walk rickety trail to get to Ao Nang the closest town and the shuttle service is very restrictive with reservations needed 24 hours in advance. However the views are amazing and pool is nice and as I mentioned our room was beautiful

We paid for an upgraded room with a hot tub on the balcony which malfunctioned and we were unable to use during our visit (4 nights). The property claimed they fixed it, but they did not. The property did nothing to compensate us expect a cheap bottle of champagne, which we don't drink. Very disappointing.

Great property in one of the best beaches in Krabi, beautiful hotel with good amenities. The boat transportation works great and it is easy either to go to Krabi town or ao nang. All the tour picked up in the hotel pier, what made it really convenient. Hotel has fair restaurant options and an awesome swimming pool. I will definitely stay in this hotel again when visiting Krabi

Séjour décevant.L’hôtel n’a plus les caractéristiques d’un hôtel 5 étoiles ! La maintenance n’est pas assurée. Le restaurant international n’existe plus ? Thaï, ,japonai ,indien, Pendant 10 jours c’est difficile pour des français ,peu adeptes de ces cuisines ! Le bruit incessant des bateaux est une gêne.à la plage. Par contre Personnel très agréable ,serviable, souriant. L’atmosphère générale n’est pas celle d’un hôtel 5 étoiles ni la tenue.

Do not stay here if you would like a clean, modern hotels. The bathroom in our hotel room was disgusting. There was dirt and residue on the walls, black mould in the shower and the floor around the sink had not been cleaned in a long time. The property itself is old and falling apart. The deck chairs and covers are old, even chairs at the restaurants are not safe. Finally, the food is not good and very over priced. It is 5x higher to eat at the hotel than in town. The staff were all lovely but that is the only nice thing about our stay.

Great view from our room…. Easy to walk into town if you don’t mind steps and monkeys. Rent a scooter, super easy! Great breakfast and loads of restaurants in town. Night market a must. Staff efficient and friendly. Too much choice outside so didn’t dine there. Beach nice and pool too. Get out and about, so much to do.

The setting is amazing, the hotel is disconnected from the buzz and chaos of the outside world, surrounded by nature and beautiful beaches. The problem is that you pay for a high-end experience and that’s not what you receive. Service is slow and even though personnel is very kind, they don’t understand English. The processes are also not made with the guests in mind and the general experience is diminished. Other than that, food is good quality, kayaking around wasn’t expensive and the weather was perfect

Private island feels
Spectacular views with a private beach. Rooms are clean but don’t leave food out because ants/insects will get into your room. Amenities are great. Food was overpriced for the quality however offered lots of international foods which was nice. They have 4 other restaurants on the property which is great to have. Hotel is right next to Ao Nang Beach however it is only accessible by monkey trail (which is challenging for elderly or people who are not physically fit) or by private longtail which is 1000 bahts. One thing the hotel could improve upon is the service, we didn’t get some items we asked for and they took a long time when we did put a request in something. Overall, I would recommend the hotel. It is very family friendly and they have lots of activities to do from kayaking to water sports, etc.

Don’t book this place unless you wish to get ill.
The property is OLD and poorly maintained. There are mosquitoes everywhere including the supposedly “air conditioned” restaurants and not just the outdoor dining spots. All the closed common areas were hot as hell due to lack of working air conditioning. House keeping didn’t replenish the bottled water without asking them to do so by calling the front desk every day. There are so many bugs outside our room on the patio and the porch that made it impossible to use those places for sitting outside to view sunset or sunrise. Also, we’d booked an ocean view suite but our room hardly had any views due to trees in front of the rooms. This hotel is not connected to mainland and you’d have to book your place in advance on the boat ferry to and from the hotel which made us stay and eat there. Food is horrendous. My daughter and I got the worst food poisoning of our lives by eating at one of the restaurant here. Breakfast buffet had stale baked goods and breads. Staff barely spoke English. Food is over priced, oily, stale, old, and disgusting at all the on-site restaurants at this hotel. My burger was burnt and the Indian food tasted horrible. I would NOT recommend staying here to anyone after the ordeal my daughter and I went through from food poisoning a day before our long 24 hour international flight unless you want to get sick from malaria, a viral infection or food poisoning. Stick to Marriott or Novotel to be safe and not sorry.

Our room was lovely, very clean with wonderful views. The facilities at the property are good. The only downside is that it is only accessible by boat which stops at a certain time or by the monkey trail which is steep. So for those looking for a late night out it’s not the most convenient however for those wanting to stay on the resort it’s ideal.

Amazing resort! Private beach and town is a boat ride away ( resort) provided free boat rides to and from the resort all throughout the day/ night with a timed schedule. The Villa we had was gorgeous, private, clean and amazing views. The private infinity pool was a plus. Super friendly staff, accommodating and the daily breakfast buffet was delicious. I would highly recommend staying here!
