Overall we had a great stay and the property is a fantastic value, so we would stay again. Our room was large and the beds were comfortable.The staff is quite friendly, and we didn't find the location to be an issue since there is the free tuk-tuk. We did have some minor issues though. A) road noise is quite loud, even with ear plugs. B) air conditioner made the room way too cold, but it was hot within 5 minutes if you turned it off (we tried several different settings and couldn't find a nice temperature at night). C) bathroom door didn't fit to the frame, so there was a horrible noise every time you open or close the door. D) breakfast options got repetitive after 3 days, some cereal or yogurt would have been great. Still, we enjoyed our stay as a whole!

This hotel was off of the main tourist strip. It was probably the cleanest hotel I have stayed at and the staff went out if their way to help us with every question we put to them. The breakfast was good and the prices fair.

Great little hotel, looks exactly as it does in the photos. Staff all helpful and friendly. Rooms big with fabulous view at the rear towards the mountains. Comfy beds, in room safe, tv etc. Note they do not have a lift if you have walking difficulties. My partner injured her knee whilst on holiday and they kindly accommodated our request to put us no higher than the first floor as she was struggling to walk. We were on a budget and opted for a hotel without a pool as we planned to spend our days on the beach. We initially thought this hotel was a little way out but the free hotel tuk tuk runs until 9.00 pm at night and was a great way of getting around and only took 5 mins to get you to the main strip. There’s 2 locations you can get picked up from near the beach to get back to the hotel. We tried some of the more local places near the hotel and got some great food. The food outlet (turn left out the hotel, walk towards traffic lights, turn left again and walk straight on - opposite Tesco) does a fab all you can eat seafood and meat bbq for 199 bhat; half the cost of the ones nearer the beach. Had we not been in the area it is unlikely we would have tried the bars and restaurants further out from the main strip. Cost 100 bhat in a tuk tuk to get back to hotel from main strip on a night. There’s a great little fruit stall next to the hotel where you can buy fresh pineapple for 10 bhat; including chopping it for you.

Super amazing stay
Amazing!!! 2 nights with super comfort, clean & spacious! Will repeat again! Friendly staff and really helpful. also provide halal food for muslim like us. But this hotel do not provide lift but stairs only.our room at 3rd floor. First arrived they help us to bring our luggage. This hotel also provide FREE tuk tuk service to AO nang beach.

Pleasant place to stay very convenient..
Hotel wise everything was good love the concept of the hotel very creative..the hotel also provide free transport 'tuktuk' to Ao Nang Beach and back to the hotel. Halal food is very easy to find along the stretch of Ao Nang district. 7/11 store is just 5mins walk from the hotel very convenient!! A very good and lovely place to stay Thank u so much for the hospitality!!

Nice hotel!
They place was great, far from the beach but they offer free transit to the water. For the most part the room was clean and well kept but for our entire stay they just refolded our towels and we never got fresh ones.

Excellent stay! Two great restaurants within a 2 minute walk... free tuk tuk service... excellent spa directly across the street. Very clean Must know that there is no elevator/lift only 4 floors high though. Free breakfast was good. They even packed us a to go breakfast EARLY the morning we had to go to airport. So thoughtful. They also supply umbrellas and towels for the beach or walking!

Great hotel
Hotel isn’t walking distance to the beach but there is a free tuk tuk (local transport) service so that’s not a problem. Room is equipped with free water, coffee, WiFi, a safe, a hair dryer, a balcony and a cloth drying rack, hangers, a closet, a dressing table, soaps, shampoos and conditioners. The breakfast was simple but good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms and bathrooms were really clean. There’s a lot of food stalls near by and even a Tesco Lotus for grocery shopping. Massage parlours and the mosque (in front of which there’s good street food and reasonably priced souvenirs) are within walking distance.

High level of cleanliness
Beautiful hotel with high level of cleanliness and comfortable bed. Breakfast choices are limited but taste good. 30 mins walking distance to the beach but the hotel provides free tuk tuk service. This hotel is also providing fair value tour packages and we booked the tour just the night before the tour. Overall experience with the hotel is great.

Staff of the hotel fail to help us book the taxi and we almost miss our flight in the early morning but luckily the boss's son show his responsibility and bring us to airport by his own personal car.Other than that,we really recommend backpacker or any traveller stay in this hotel because the location is near to aonang.You might want to ask tuk tuk from the hotel bring you to aonang and is free from charge.Room is clean and comfort to have a good rest.

Nice and clean hotel, provide snacks n drinks at the lobby corner. Friendly staff will on the fans when you are there. I don't need the room to be cleaned up during my stays, so the staff put bottles of drinking water, toilet tissue n soaps daily at my door for me. There are many restaurants nearby. Hotel provides transport to the beach but we preferred walking, it took about 20 mins. Breakfast is nice and enough. We took mini van to the Fosil beach n Krabi town. The driver will pick up passengers on the way, so provided you are not in a hurry; this is a good way to see the surrounding.

cute little hotel, a little far from town
This was the nicest hotel where I stayed out of five during my 16-day trip. Everything was clean and bright, and there was a nice view of the cliff from my balcony. The only downside is that it was a little far from Ao Nang, maybe 15 minutes walking fast to the beach, and about 6 minutes to where the restaurants become densely packed. Something small: I was sick for 1.5 days, and the staff honored the "Do not disturb" sign, leaving fresh water and toilet paper. I would had to scramble to answer the door in a presentable condition had they knocked, so the solitude was appreciated.

Very comfortable hotel with friendly staff. No elevators so lots of stairs when on the third floor. Service was good. Rooms very large and clean. Fridge in room so nice to have cold water, which was provided.

Nice clean hotel and accessible
Loved the Big room with king sized bed. Rooms are nicely decorated and has an attached balcony with small tea table facing the hills from where you can see the sunrise. Room and bathrooms were very very clean. They had a free tuk-tuk (shuttle) service to Aonang beach; which is only around 1.9km. The free breakfast was good; not too much variety but was ok.

Best value for your money in Ao Nang.
The rooms are just like shown in the pictures. Excellent customer service. The hotel Is a little far away from town (20mins walking, totally doable) but it's nice to have the tuk tuk service as well and were also able to call them from town for a free pick up. The room was spacious, clean and the bed super comfortable. Wifi worked pretty fast. Breakfast was simple but filling. Would definitely stay here again. Best value for money in Ao Nang.

Quiet hotel - good for family.
Good family hotel - walking distance to supermarket. Staff are helpful but limited ability to communicate in English. Not much activity around the vacinity of the hotel that makes the surrounding area quiet. About 5 mins ride by tuk tuk to Au Nang beach and shopping area.

Worthy of giving it a try. Hotel is in very good condition and well kept. It waa quite fat from Ao Nang Proper but hotel provides a free tuk tuk ride. Overall, it is good for the amount you paid. Recommended.

Good hotel for good price
The hotel is nice and very clean, the only downside is that you have to walk to the beach and center, but hotel also provide tuk-tuk service to the beach until 9 pm. So you are covered during the day, but only have to walk if you stay in center pass 9pm. There is always a taxi option of course. Everyone at the hotel is very helpful and friendly.

There is no elevator to reach our levels. We are old couples. In side the toilet some flies flying in the morning time. Balcony side one kind of bad smell. Apart from this excellent.

Recent Trip to Krabi
I spent four nights and the Ancora Blu and I'm flabbergasted at some of the other ratings on here. It was an excellent stay. The room was amazing. Easily worth twice the price. The beds were turned every day, the utilities worked flawlessly. The room was very spacious. It was enough space for myself, my three kids, and my sister. The staff was very friendly, even spotting me Baht when I didn't have enough cash on me for the taxi. I will definitely stay here again.

Ancora blu boutique is one of my favorite places to stay. It was my second time now. Room is very clean staff is very friendly and if you have thw room with mountain view the balcony view is amazing. The downside is it doesn't have elevator and it can be annoying if your room is on second floor an the place ia not really located near the Ao Nang beach. If you don't have own transport you will need the hotel tuc tuc or a taxi or walk for 20 minutes to the beach area . But if you have a car or scooter that this place is ideal, it away from the sounds and with scooter you reach everything in 5 minutes

Ok hotel for a short stop - clean
This hotel was ok for a last stop before heading to the airport. The beds and linen was fine and everything was clean. There was no elevator which was a bad thing when you get a room on 3rd floor with many bags. The location is just ok, I am not a big fan of AoNang after spending time in much nicer places like Raily beach and Koh Lanta. Short walk to local restaurants and international supermarkets 7/11 and Tesco. The restaurants were all close to the road so noisy. There was a great spa on the other side of the road but very expensive compared to the massages on the beach.

Het was drama. Er zat een hagedis achtig dier in Mn kamer. Wij waren de ergste niet en gingen de stad verkennen en bij terugkomst zouden we gewoon gaan slapen. Maar het lag ons niet lekker en bij terugkomst zijn we met een medewerker een uur bezig geweest om dat dier te vangen/eruit te krijgen. Vervolgens gaf ik aan dat dit niet de bedoeling was en ik Mn tijd niet verder hieraan wil verspillen en evt een andere kamer wilde. Dit viel in het verkeerde keelgat van de receptionist. Die weigerde een ander kamer of enig vorm van excuus. Uiteindelijk ben ik daar weer een paar uur later dus uitgecheckt. Geen enkel vorm van begrip of excuus was het ergste. Naast dat beweeglijke dieren waren er ook overal mieren
