"The Mira an impressive looking and smelling hotel. Service is impeccable though I wish the doorman is stationed at the door more often, for a hotel of this caliber.
The room floors are dimly lit together with dark themes, with mirrored low ceilings, giving a labyrinth-like vibe. It can feel very claustrophobic and visually confusing - sometimes you can tell if the end of the walkway is a dead end or a junction.
In the case of a fire emergency, this could prose a problem.
The room is lux, but the shower system requires either a manual or a demonstration to figure out.
Was slightly disappointed that for a hotel of this caliber, they only 2 cans of water were complimentary, no tea nor coffee were offered.
My one off incident: cleaning staff took away my opened hotel toothpaste, replaced everything else except for the toothpaste, leaving me with no toothpaste the next day.
Other than these, the Mira is a decent option at off peak seasons."
