Booked a family room with a double and a single bed. Spacious. However toilet has no hooks or place to hang clothings at all. No complementary bottles of water. Improve on this area will be great! Location is really great!

Very good location in Mong Kok
The room is quite small, but the location is very good. It's near MTR Mong Kok Exit C4 and 3 minutes walk to Langham Place

Great location, awesome free phone
The hotel is in a great location, just a few blocks from the Mong Kok metro stop making it accessible to all of Hong Kong. The best thing about our stay, however, was that the hotel provided us with a cell phone that we could use for google maps, make into a wifi hotspot, and even make outgoing calls!

Best 3-star Hotel
I was mot expecting much for 3-star hotel having experienced a few in HK on a few family trips but H1 gave us a very pleasant surprise. Upon arrival, we were surprised by how efficient the check-in process was and how near it is from the Mongkok mtr station! It is a stone's throw from The Langjam Place where it is very popular with the youngdters in HK and walking distance from the famous shopping streets like Sneakers Street, Ladies Street and Temple Street. We could shop for a couple of hours, drop off our wares at the room and head out again. As we were travelling with my parents and the kids, this accessibility was very important to us. Food was never an issue because of the abundance of eatery nearby - fastfood and restaurants in Langham, famous Goose restaurant next door and loads of cafes everywhere in the area (a number of them listed in the reviews). In the mornings, we were even excited by the small wet market that was just at the back of the hotel, where we could experience a slice of local living - sights of fresh produce and seafood that the locals come to purchase. The kids learnt a lot and the adults were intrigued. I will definitely come again.

1 of the single bed have flea. We complaint to the staff and they immediate change all the bed sheet. Room very small. Always listen next room bang the door.

Worth ur money
Stay in a superior triple room. WiFi connection is good, spacious room as per photo shown in the website, toiletries are provided except hangers too less (one hanger per pax). TV channels selection is very minimum. You can request ur free mobile phone from receptionist. Overall, worth it and will come back here again.

Overall i would stay here again. Pros: clean room, friendly and helpful staff, large spacious room, they hold your luggage, can tell you what to take to get to where. Beds were comfy and clean, spacious enougb bathroom for hk. Cons: check in time 3pm strictly enforced, smaller so not well known for taxi drivers.

Overall quite good for a 3-star hotel. Location wise near to mtr and Langham place shopping centre (less than 5 mins walk). Front desk staff is friendly and approachable. Will stand and greet whenever we walk in or out. Room is small, space is limited. Bed is springy type, other than TV remote, the rest is still functioning. Good point, during the stay, we can use their handy phone, can use for internet or making phone call to Singapore.

Booked the Family room for three nights at approx. USD$200 per night for family of three. This has to be my worst ever experience with a hotel. Feet itch not long after entering the room and not just me, all three of us. We suspect something's wrong with the towels too, right after we shower, and used their towels, our body started getting rashes and yup ... all three of us. The sofa in the room is possibly older than I am. The bed, is the lowest quality bed i've ever slept on and its impossible to sleep without feeling seasick. To make it worse, there is absolutely NO soundproof, we can hear very loud door slamming throughout the night. We forfeited 600$ and booked another hotel the next morning. So to me, this is one hotel with the lowest quality on everything but try to charge you 4 star price. The quality is no better than one of those guest house that charges $50 a night, I regret not reading the reviews and judged based on the price. You can find much better hotel for that price (or lower) around the area. Do Not Book! Well if you must, at least make sure you can get a refund.

Super low quality hotel
I regretted so much for booking this hotel, the room are super old, low quality of everything in the room. The carpet have weird smell, aircon temperature not stable, the shower spray holder was crack and it will suddenly drop which injuried my mum's feet. This hotel is not even cheap when I book it. Please reconsider if you are looking at this hotel.

Good location. Near Mongkok MTR, ladies market and Langham place shopping centre (the korea food at the 4th floor is good and value for money) . Many eateries around the hotel and there is a wet market behind. If you take 2 station MTR to Sam Sham Po, the shopping and food there is cheaper than ladies market.

H1 Hotel was just right for us. The location is great to be with locals and near fantastic shopping of all kinds and very near MongKok metro stops. The hotel staff could not have been nicer. The wifi in the rooms was not very good but we were given a cell with a separate wifi account and access to apps and other valuable travel information. The single rooms were small but provided all necessities. If one needs a desk to use for a prolonged period of time with a laptop, this might not be a good hotel for you. There is only a "padded stool" upon which to sit besides the bed. An "easy chair" would be a welcome addition but I am not sure where it would fit. If you plan to be out and about most of the time, it is perfect. Thanks H1 Hotel staff. You are among the elite!!!

The staff is polite and the location is strategic just a minute away from the MTR station and it surrounds by lots restaurant and most important a walking distance to most of the famous shopping street like ladies street.

H1 for Convenience
We enjoyed our stay in H1 Hotel mostly for the proximity to Langham Mall, one of the best malls that we've had the chance to visit. It's also near a pharmacy and a Goose meat restaurant, which helped a lot when we first arrived and were a bit lost and groggy. Love the proximity to Mong Kok MTR as well. The hotel feels like a stone's throw away from everything.

Checkin was smooth. Given a room on the 7th floor. Smallest hotel room I have stayed in so far. Even in hk. I have been so many times. Smallest room. 1 light in the room was not working. So the room look dark even I on all light. They used yellow light. Should have use white light! Room making light also not working! House keeping make room only in the late afternoon to evening time! Sound proof was bad can hear Neighbour making noise early in the morning! Only good thing water pressure is very good. Location is really Super next to langham place! But the room size is horrible with the same price I can get better size room in hk else where.

Receptionist requested $500 cash deposit on arrival. Credit card is not accepted. Room is located next to fire exit with narrow corridor. You can hear people talking and all these bing bang noise when door is closed. Bed is absolutely bouncy. It's more like a water bed. Hotel has minimal facilities and supplies. No cultulery, no iron and ironing board which I think is very bare minimal for a hotel. Location is good but too busy for us as a family. Cleaner does their job properly. Receptionists are not friendly. In general, I would not stay in this hotel again and would not recommend this to any friends

Only four teabags and no coffee making facility as advertised. No bed making the morning of the first night. Overall hotel condition is good. Room is very clean and bed is comfortable. Room size is quite small for two people but is not smaller than many hotels in the locality for the price. Close to airport bus and MTR is a big bonus. This hotel would be ideal for solo traveller on a budget.

The wife and I booked a standard room for the week we were in Hong Kong. We were on the 9th floor which isn't too bad to get away from the street noise. Our view was nice; top down view of a roof-top restaurant and a partial view of the Langham Place mall. The hotel itself was very clean and kept up to date. Other reviews say that the lobby is tiny, not enough room. I would say even though it isn't necessarily the widest lobby, you can definitely go through it to get to the elevators with two spinner luggages with room. The room was a tad small. We are two small Chinese people and found the room to have enough room for us. We found ourselves hanging out in bed since there really wasn't any other place to be. Considering the price though, it was well worth the coziness. The room was kept very clean, with the standard toiletries you would find in almost any hotel. The bathroom was also small; you would need to close the bathroom door all the way in order to use the toilet or get to the shower. Again, it works out considering the great price we had for it. There was also free wifi however it was really slow or just didn't work for most of the time we tried to use it. The upside to this was the free Handy phone you get for each room. You can take the Handy phone outside of the room and place free international or local calls with it. You can also set it up as a local wifi spot, which we did when the room wifi wasn't working. The staff was friendly and knew English perfectly.

This hotel is extremely well located within a couple of minutes walk from the metro , a 5 minute walk from Ladies market as well as near some great restaurants and food stalls. Check in was efficient and quick. The hotel also offers a free mobile phone for your visit. This has maps, tourist information and internet access as well as free local calls. It also allowed free calls to some foreign countries but not the UK or Australia. Our room was clean and comfortable with plentiful hot showers. There were complimentary bathroom supplies and slippers. The elevator for our 14th floor room was always available meaning no waiting for lifts. The TV had one english language channel. There was a kettle and both green and black tea provided. There was also a fridge. The metro gives you easy access to most of the sights at a reasonable price and is easy to navigate so we decided the location of this hotel was wonderful. It is only a 10 minute walk to the goldfish and flower market and sneaker street is about 5 minutes away. Temple street market is a 30 minute stroll. Mongkok is busy till well gone midnight and felt safe to wander. There was a local Wellcome supermarket about 10 minutes walk for drinks. A taxi from the airport will set you back about 240 HK$ On the way to Mongkok metro you pass to cooked meat stalls. The one nearest the hotel does a great takeawat bbq pork rice and sticky sauce! The hotel also look after your bags on check out day if you have a later flight.

H1 hotel HK stay review
We stay for 3 nights, it was a present stay and what surprised us most was, they provide us with a 3G phone whereby we can call to various Asia countries for free and google map apps installed which made our trip much more easier and assess to whatever we need conveniently and it was totally free of charge, great customer service! a highly recommended hotel! value for money!

I visit Hong Kong regularly and have stayed in a number of different hotels over the years. This was my first visit to H1 Hotel, and I was very pleased. Unlike other hotels the twin room I had at H1 was relatively spacious and I could walk around without stepping over luggage. The bathroom also had plenty of room, meaning my legs weren't hitting the wall if I was sitting on the toilet. I should also add the staff all spoke English and there were no communication problems. The only thing I didn't like about H1 is they only have local/mainland TV channels, which aren't great quality viewing if you're not Chinese. Overall I really like this hotel and I'll be coming back again in the near future.

Great location, enough room space
The hotel is extremely near Langham Place which is a big shopping mall. There are many eateries nearby too. It is around 5 mins away from the mongkok mtr station. The triple room has enough space for 3 people. The shower pressure is just right and the hot water is consistent. H1 provides a mobile phone for unlimited internet and local calls which is very helpful for touring. Staff are accommodating and responds immediately for any needs you have. I will stay in this hotel again. :)

Clean and convenient
The property was 2 blocks away from the shopping strip. Very convenient to subway and restaurants. The lobby is small but functional. They offered a curtesy cellphone for local use, and you can call any countries for free. The room was very clean and neat. The only issue was the noise from the fan and noise insulation is not so good. I would stay in this hotel again.
