"Suited our purposes for a short stay. Room was fine, though bathrooms are dated and there were some questionable hairs on the walls and ceiling. Wifi, ice machine, and air conditioning all worked well. Breakfast included was plentiful and had a good selection, and location was convenient with lots of restaurant and shopping options nearby."

"The hostess laughed when I asked what the breakfast was like. I understood why the next morning. Shower was stained, found trash around the room, and the bed was the creakiest thing I've ever slept on."

"This motel is very overpriced for the amenities and cleanliness. This is a motel and yet the front door do not automatically opened. With luggage this was very difficult to navigate. Looking at the ventilation unit filter, one can tell that this room has not been cleaned. The window was open. The shower head was Filthy! There was no plug in the drain to take a bath. Highway noise all day and night. The carpets are brown, as to not show dirt? Breakfast had waffles but the batter was...

"We were assigned Room 101. Unfortunately, it was not clean. We found several cigarette butts under the bed, which was especially concerning since we were traveling with our toddler. We had expected a clean, non-smoking room. On a positive note, the management was friendly and helpful, but the cleanliness of the room was disappointing."

"Right off the highway, yet close enough to both the Indiana Dunes State and National Parks that we were able to make multiple trips to both during our short stay. Highly recommend Wagners, local restaurant, for the rib dinner."

"Pulling into the motel the roof looked a mess and when my husband went in to register the lobby smelled awful and the chairs were torn and dirty. We contacted Expedia and they called the manager who refused to let them can the reservation. The room was ok, nice bed and tv. Bathroom needed work/repairs."

"Let me start by saying every staff member I met during my week stay were all wonderful. However, this hotel has a nerve charging a "$45.95 per day resort fee"! This is a glorified motel that smells like feet, dogs, a high-school loccer room and old cigarettes combined, no matter where you turn! The carpet in the room 212 was literally sticky! I stayed for a week, and the room wasn't cleaned once!!! Now let's turn our attention to the, "Green Bathtub", I mean the pool. Can we say fisheye lenses...

"This is a newer hotel so I feel that all staff and amenities are very pleasing. The stay was comfortable, everything was clean & the hotel staff is friendly. To my knowledge, there are only two chain hotels located directly in Crown Point. All other hotels are in Merrillville - the neighboring city. Towne Place is directly across from everything that seems to be of convenience; restaurants, gas, groceries, & U. Of Chicago extension hospital..."
