"The property is advertised as a 4 star probably based on the amenities however it’s a 3 star at the most based on UK STANDARDS. The food is limited for vegetarians apart from the array of salads and possibly 4 vegetarian main options. Foods are not not always labelled. However the chef is accommodating if given pre-notice. Rooms needs a revamp, common areas are not cleaned, sun bed are not cleaned daily."

"This is a bigger hotel that seems to cater to business travelers rather than offering a European hotel experience. Lots of little amenities. Very clean and nice. Dining at the hotel was expensive. We left before breakfast opened but they put together a box breakfast that was very nice to have for our travels. 15 minute walk to the port. "Just spent the last week at Petradi Beach Lounge Hotel and had the best experience! The rooms and beds were incredibly comfortable, the breakfast was amazing, and the pool and beach area were absolutely perfect. The best part, though, was the pool bar! Panos and Nikos were so friendly and welcoming, always helpful, made amazing drinks, and truly made Petradi feel less like a hotel and more like home. Can’t recommend this place enough — already can’t wait to come back!"

Peninsula Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

"We’ve just returned from an amazing trip to Crete and had a fantastic stay at the Peninsula Hotel. From the moment we arrived, all of the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they were always happy to help whenever we needed anything. Their kindness really made our holiday feel special. The hotel was spotless, our room was clean and comfortable, and the views were beautiful. Everything was well looked after and made for a really relaxing stay. The food was fantastic as well, with plenty of choice every day and something for everyone. Every meal was enjoyable and definitely exceeded our expectations. The beaches nearby were honestly some of the best I’ve ever been to, with crystal-clear water and stunning scenery. It’s a place I’ll remember for a long time. A huge thank you to everyone at the Peninsula Hotel for making our holiday so enjoyable. We had an incredible time and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Crete. We’ll definitely be back."

"Perfect stay, friendly staff, good location, long walks recommended ( to Centre ville, to a nearby wild beach, to the port) food excellent, but not exactly close by, Attention: few food places, coffee shops and restaurants close to the hotel will charge you over any listed price. The hotel restaurant and bar are very good and convenient: recommended. We had a wonderful sea facing studio: wonderful for us."

"Absolutely spotless room with a lovely sea view. This hotel is very good value. Right on the sea front with an easy walk into town. There is a road on either side of the hotel, but I didn't have any trouble sleeping. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely and relaxed. The bed was comfy, the air con worked, couldn't ask for anything else."

"We had a cave room which had everything we wanted. The only gripe I had was the pillows. I prefer feather but I know this is a personal choice. The staff were kind, obliging and our cleaner did a great job every day. We did have a few meals in the restaurant which were al a carte and so very nice. The views were wonderful from our pool and the whole holiday was chilled, peaceful and calming."
