- Disliked: Staff & service, property conditions & facilities
room without proper toilet and shower door for better privacy and the room layout is really disappointing.
Located by the sea, Mercure Kota Kinabalu City Centre is in Kota Kinabalu's Downtown Kota Kinabalu neighbourhood, a walkable area with good shopping. Jesselton Point Ferry Terminal and Sutera Harbour are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those in the mood for shopping can visit Imago Shopping Mall and Gaya Street Sunday Market. Anjung Samudera and Sedco Square are also worth visiting.Visit our Kota Kinabalu travel guide

This hotel has the most amazing pool on the 25th floor looking out over the sea and a great pool restaurant. The morning breakfasts were great egg station fantastic.the only slight gripe was that the room change left a little bit of need for better service. The staff from front desk to all others were fantastic thanks for the most relaxing 12 nights we spent there but book a sea view room
