Great hotel! We stayed there twice during our trip to Mount Kinabalu. The room was nice sized, bathroom was perfect and breakfast was good. Will stay again when in KK.

The location is great, close to most sightseeing spots like ferry terminal, markets, shopping centers, cafes and restaurants. The service was also good, staffs kindly helped us when we asked for goods replacements or advice for shops. It’s good enough to stay for several nights for city walk and island hopping. My favorite was their breakfast service. The soup that you can choose ingredients and soup type was pretty tasty.

Central and Convenient

Very convenient location in town. Place was clean and comfortable. A bit weird, since it is on the 7th floor of the Sabah Mall, but separate lifts (one lift for rooms, another for mall) eased my mind. Just a short walk away from the seafood heaven of KK, and there was a day market around the corner on Sunday. Breakfast was plentiful, in terms of choices and food.

Tourist hotel in the low end!

Get a room on 8th or 9th floor, which are nice and fairly new - below the 8th you do feel like been in a prison due to crazy architecture with bars in front of windows! Standard room not nice! Breakfast is not for European and very low standard. The mall below is fine and the hotel is fairly central!

The hotel is in good location, friendly and helpful staffs, perfect housekeeping, just the condition is a bit worn out, my door handle came off twice during my stay, but it still works. The noice proof condition is not as good, I can hear the water running next door for shower and toilet, and the noise from the corridor as well, but overall I am happy for my stay.

I can’t fault this hotel. It is located on level 7 of the Suria shopping centre which is very convenient for shopping and eating as there are a variety of decent restaurants in the shopping centre. It is 5-10 mins walk from the pier where you catch the boat to the islands, the fish market, the souvenir market and the Gaya Street weekend night and Sunday markets. The rooms are clean and well equipped and the staff are eager to please. The only negative is that the walls are paper thin so you can hear everything that goes on outside your room.

Clean room, clean mattress and toilet. Front desk staff is friendly. Convenient location, just take the lift lobby near to Macdonald to level 7 lift lobby. Sound proof not that good, but as long as the guests are not making loud noise, its not a major issue. The major problem is the wifi, its very weak. I cannot watch netflix at all.
