"Beach bungalows on a deserted island, and yes, it IS a deserted island. Our stay at this resort on Ko Lon was probably the most memorable part of our trip to Thailand. The bungalows were very spacious and elegant, with fairly nice finishing throughout. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful- it felt like we were staying with friends! "So outrigger is an excellent hotel chain. It is a true higher end 4 star hotel. That being said, I have stayed at world class hotels al over Thailand and the Surin outrigger has the best trained staff I have seen at any hotel. They are exceptional, everyone working there is just so kind and accommodating always. I always stay here when I come to Phuket. Also the breakfast is top notch as well;) "
