Centara Ko Phi Phi hotels

"This was our second stay at this location in 3 yrs. Was excited to come back and was VERY disappointed. Location is awesome - close to the pier and a short walk to all amenities. Staff at this hotel were incredible - very friendly and helpful….the pool was always nice….thats where it ends. Oh and if you love cats, there are plenty!!! Pool bar never had a server (even after ringing a bell 4 times) lots of garbage around the grounds, beds were beyond HARD, like sleeping on concrete, we didn’t have hot water and breakfast buffet was below average. Hotel is dated even after some obvious upgrades. Sad to say we won’t be back!"

"This hotel is really excellent. There is a major drawback though. The night clubs are down the beach and whilst there is notice that there will be noise from 9.30-2.30am it is actually until 4am. It is incredibly loud and whilst the bamboo rooms are great to stay in there is no sound proofing so if you are looking for a relaxing stay this is great during the day, but at night it is a real challenge."

"Everything was great but the bartender was very off putting, he literally shock his head at me when I ordered a diet coke. Everyone else was amazing and I tried to see if it was just me but my friend got the same treatment. So I tried again the next day and again he acted as though I was bothering him to do his job. I try to be super polite and empathetic to wait staff as someone who has worked in that line of work I know it can be stressful. Anyway I love everything and everyone else at this property but that experience really bummed me out and sort tarnished the whole thing."

"You can’t beat the view, it’s amazing! Need to be some what fit to walk up stairs/hills to room. Basic breakfast, restaurant/bar very basic"

"Excellent hotel and very friendly staff. Probably the best view in the entire island! We were very surprised at how quiet the hotel was despite being on the pier. Breakfast was disappointing, we require a halal diet which was not available (despite majority of residents of PhiPhi being Muslim!) - we found that there were minimal vegetarian options, but whatever was available was tasty. I would stay here again purely because of the view, rooms and staff"

"Stay was overall amazing, great location and beautiful private beach and great view from room. Only issue is no access to any store apart from the hotels minimart. Apart from that the food was great but a bit expensive."
