"We had breakfast at the nearby cafe most mornings. Room was very clean. Housekeeping was excellent. The loo needed some adjustment which wasn’t a major problem but I mentioned it before departure. Curtains did a pretty good job of blocking out street light. The Roberts radio was lovely. Some of the photographs in the books were perhaps too risqué even for us. "

Bed was also good. Blanket was a bit surprising - too small even for one. Staff on reception were nice and helpful. The only cons is that the hotel is cashless - one needs to report in the bank about each beer taken in the bar. "
