"Absolutely brilliant experience. The hotel is beautiful. Staff are so friendly and welcoming they can’t do enough for you. A bit slow when ordering room service a few times we had to phone twice as nothing arrived and it took over 1 hour when it did. The food for a 5 star hotel isn’t the best and not worth the prices charged for it. Very adverage food. "

"First time at the western house hotel and was very impressed. First impressions are important and the member of staff at reception was welcoming and super efficient..she sorted out dinner for us and went over and above to ensure a great stay. "Beautiful location with lovely, comfortable accomodation. The night staff were very friendly, accomodation and helpful on our arrival. We felt very welcome. However the day time reception staff were quite abrupt and rude not only to us but we watched a few other guests get 'told off' for petty things. Was rather unfortunate to witness. It spoilt the mood immediately. The lounge area was so relaxing with gorgeous views. The pool area was nice and clean but the floors are quite smooth and slippy!"
