"First nights sleep interrupted abruptly by fire alarm going off at 4am, bathroom smelt of mould, mattress as stiff as an ironing board. Check in staff in reception upon arrival were good. "

"Hotel seemed nice overall. Room was small and quite tired but seemed clean. The downside was the bed it was the most uncomfortable bed I have stayed in in a hotel and the one pillow was so hard and lumpy we both had a really bad sleep. Did not use the restaurant or leisure facilities so cannot comment on these. Because of the bed alone I would not return unfortunately. "

"Fabulous stay, hotel staff amazing..very friendly..nothing was to much travel. Room was spotless ..comfy bed. Breakfast was perfect! Parking round the back of hotel was an added bonus. Would definitely stay again."

"Have stayed here a few times but would maybe try somewhere else next time. It’s a shame but basic things let it down. No sugar in the room. Very poor tv signal which was so bad we could not watch the tv. When we mentioned it at reception we got told the signal was not good in that room. So why not sort it !! Dinner was excellent however the service was dismal. Waited 25 mins for our plates to be cleared and then another 25 minute wait for dessert. All in all very disappointing for the price. "

"On arriving, the systems were down and was a bit chaotic due to being taken over 2 days prior. We said we would go for a walk and check in properly when we got back. This went a little smoother but staff still didnt know 2hat they were doing. For the price you would expect a clean bathroom. However on closer inspection in the morning, it was really dirty. Unfortunatley we went down for breakfast and the poor member of staff was on her own, taking breakfast orders, cookingand keeping the drinks area topped up. All 7 rooms where full and it was unfair that she was on her own. No time to talk to you and therefore no time.to.discuss what was found. "
