"This stay was one to remember, after a 2 am police check point, we arrived at the hotel to a very unhappy hotel receptionist. We asked for a late checkout due to our long night where she rudely refused stating that they were busy and can’t do that. After that interaction We had trouble with our door she seemed agitated that we came back down after getting in the room successfully we noticed the volume on the tv was not working, she only insisted it was the remote so she replaced the remote that still didn’t solve the issues. So we just decided to go to sleep. Spoke with morning front desk receptionist she was really nice and had someone come to our room to fix tv but at this time it was about time to check out."

"The room was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We had some minor problems with the shower and it was fixed in a short time. We liked that the hotel was within a short walk to the beach. Some good restaurants nearby. Overall it was a great stay. "

Sunrise breakfast at Sliders is awesome. The unit came equipped with EVERYTHING you need to cook (or bake for that matter). Quiet, comfortable and effortless check-in and checkout. "Room was not clean when first in, and they don't clean everyday, even when requested. Low end tourist spot, try Ritz or Omni, it is worth the premium if there for a few days."

"Staff is exceptional, making sure all of our needs were delivered. Breakfast fresh and delicious with several options. Location is also great with a good pool. Coffee and tea available 24hs. Room spacious. I've stayed on the ground floor room with access to the pool, which was a great option and bigger room with a separate living room"

"Our bedroom window did not lock Planet waste approach coffee was okay, cheering.The restaurant was not open the mornings that we were there.And there was no staff at all that I could find.Except for at night in the bar other than that, the place was awesome.We loved it.It was right next door to the green turtle, which was a plus it was great location.Definitely, great location and the twin beds were comfortable"

"Choose other options in St Mary’s, stay at the holiday inn express in Kingsland. Positive, people were friendly, breakfast was good, not great. Loved the egg cheese omelette and bacon, other than that it was a continental breakfast. Negatives, old moldy smell lobby and rooms, old motel 6 style rooms, beige colored popcorn ceiling tiles that were cracked, broken sink, literally a 12 inch crack across a porcelain sink basin, bed platform coming apart, my wife kicked the corner sticking out several times. Pillows were lumpy chunks of har foam or??? We had to go to store to buy 2 pillows. Floors were dirty, concrete balcony area stained, door to lobby for breakfast were damaged, stained, needed repair. We prepaid for 2 nights, left after first night because when we returned to our room about 3:30pm, cleaning staff was gone and they never cleaned our room, no new towels, etc. went to front desk, they were having conversations in back, never came up, had to ring bell, heard someone shout, it’s prepaid, we will email bill, never even asked why I was checking out. Not a great experience, not sure why anyone would give this property high reviews. My wife felt uncomfortable and unsafe. People were hanging out on their balconies drinking, hanging out, felt like a college dorm room. Lastly, no sound insulation, you can hear the toilets flush in the next room, just gross."

"Our room was next to the breakfast prep area and every morning there was an inordinate amount of noise from 6am on. Our AC was making a terrible vibrating noise. We informed the staff of both of these concerns and nothing was done to remedy them. We have stayed in this Hampton Inn many times in the past and never had these kinds of problems. Very disappointing."
