"The property is in an excellent location within walking distance of everything we wanted to see, but just outside the very busy tourist area of the Temple Bar District. The pub, Darkey Kelly’s, that you can access through the hotel was amazing for trad music and solid food. We did not eat at the Bistro, but having two choices on property was nice. "Loved everything about this hotel and experience. The only thing to note is that if you are a couple sharing a room, the bed is up against a wall, meaning you have to climb over your partner to pee in the middle of the night. If you’re in your mid 40s, be prepared! We will definitely come back. "

"We chose the Ashling hotel because of its location near the Dublin Heuston train station. It's an easy walk across the river from the station to the Ashling. Upon check-in, staff was friendly, gave us an upgraded room with a view of the City (we could see Guinness) from our window, and offered dining suggestions. You can access most of the main city attractions within a mile of the hotel, so it is very walkable. We would stay here again."

"Great hotel, rooms comfortable though family room was a bit small. Not keen on shower over bath as it’s a real slip hazard for those that are a bit unsteady. Nice touch with tea, coffee, biscuits and water in room. Beds and pillows comfortable, air con a bonus. Fantastic choice on breakfast buffet one of the best in the hotels around Parnell Square though hot buffet was very slow to be replenished at the most busiest of time around 9am. "

"We had exceptional service at Wellington Temple Bar Hotel! They helped us check in early, get transport to the airport, and generally went above and beyond to take care of us. The in hotel bar had exceptional live music every night we were there as well!"
