"Shutters was an absolute amazing hotel to stay in. Very clean, with friendly and helpful staff, magnificent view of the ocean and easy, private path to the beach. When we make a come back to NC we will be choosing this hotel to stay in again. It was so wonderful, we were sad to have to leave."

"The pool wasn’t open but other hotel pools were. The water was turned off for a couple of hours(about 4 each day, 11am to 1/2pm, each day) the staff are helpful, the place was a MESS because they had plumbers there fixing pipes- to which I was told before hand otherwise I would have stayed elsewhere. Overall VERY disappointed in my stay."

"This is our third stay with Ramada. The Beachcombers tiki bar is so awesome and the pool is so nice but… the mattress we slept on last night was not the most comfortable and I do understand that everyone has different preferences when it comes down to mattresses but we barely slept… well vacation is not for sleep, right ? but we are exhausted. Other than that we loved it! Please upgrade your mattresses 🙏 "
